Resources and Facilities
Heavenly Marrow Resources
| Resource | Properties and Distribution |
|---|---|
| Heavenly Marrow Earth Vein | The sect’s foundational resource. Mo Sheli credits the Dao Origin Sect’s protection with allowing the Heavenly Derivation Sect to retain it without attracting predatory outsiders 175 204. |
| Heavenly Marrow Fluid | Accelerates cultivation and improves root-bone aptitude. Its scarcity leads the sect to dilute ordinary distributions with medicinal herbs 183 201. |
| Undiluted Heavenly Marrow Fluid | Reserved for special support. During the Heavenly Dynasty Sect crisis, ten bottles are entrusted to four Core Disciples to divide among themselves 183. |
| Heavenly Marrow Treasure Fluid | A stronger resource supplied to Lin Tian by Hua Chengming. Its effect surpasses the three bottles of Heavenly Marrow Fluid Lin Tian had previously obtained 187 189. |
| Geocentric Cavern | Discovered within the sect’s managed territory; can continuously produce Geocentric Milk. Its discovery creates a resource dispute with the Heavenly Dynasty Sect 175. |
Heavenly Marrow Fluid is reportedly extracted from sufficiently high-quality Heavenly Marrow Crystals found beneath the sect; better crystals yield stronger fluid 187.

History
Foundation and Regional Authority
The sect’s prosperity rests on its access to a treasured site that continuously produces Heavenly Marrow Fluid. This resource enables it to establish itself among Gaoyan Prefecture City’s Ten Great Sects 175.
Within the city, the Ten Great Sects stand above the numerous lesser powers and set the rules those factions must obey. Even the identity of a Heavenly Derivation Inner Disciple at Core Condensation is sufficient to intimidate an entire boxing arena 142.
Demon-Suppression Campaign
Following the exposure of the Worry-Forget Pavilion, the Heavenly Derivation Sect launches a campaign that uncovers two additional Demon Sect strongholds. Their principal experts escape after becoming wary of discovery. In a separate encounter, a late-stage Core Condensation enemy kills a sect disciple with black Zhenqi that drains flesh and blood 148.
The sect later assigns Core Disciples to pursue wealthy-clan defectors carrying valuable treasures. By the subsequent core meeting, the Ten Great Sects’ joint investigation has driven the Demon Sect out of Gaoyan Prefecture City, although Mo Sheli warns that the withdrawal is temporary and the threat persists elsewhere in the dynasty 217 246.
Geocentric Cavern Dispute
The Heavenly Dynasty Sect discovers the Geocentric Cavern inside Heavenly Derivation territory. Under Dao Origin Sect rules, the discovering faction is entitled to 10% of its annual output. Heavenly Dynasty proposes a disciple duel: victory would earn it another 10%; defeat would require it to surrender its existing share and provide 20% of its unique Heavenly Crystal Pills 175.
Mo Sheli invites other Gaoyan sects to contribute disciples in exchange for a share of the wagered resources. Heavenly Dynasty then erects an arena directly outside the Heavenly Derivation mountain gate, using Song Shaoyan’s victories and public rumors to damage the host sect’s reputation before alliance negotiations 176 180 182 185.
Lin Tian ultimately defeats Song Shaoyan, breaking the momentum of Heavenly Dynasty’s campaign 201.
Anti-Demon Alliance
At the alliance conference, Mo Sheli clashes with Heavenly Dynasty Sect Master Long Tianchao. Han Qingtian and the other sect masters intervene before the fight escalates further 203.
The alliance is established without immediately appointing an Alliance Leader. Its members retain control of their resources while contributing core treasures as incentives for operations against the surrounding Demon Sects 203.
Hundred Sects Plan
Kui Shengyang and Yu Qinghan accompany the sect’s disciples to the Dao Origin Sect. Lin Tian’s perceptiveness earns Deacon Song’s recognition and a Grade A Token, allowing the delegation to bypass the ordinary queue and receive preferential lodging 257 258 259.
Lin Tian and Mu Qingxue qualify through the Hundred Sects Trial; Mu Qingxue places ninety-fifth. Chen Qingyu subsequently chooses the alternative route of entering as an Outer Disciple 275 277.
Before parting, the Heavenly Derivation Sect gives Lin Tian and Mu Qingxue 50 drops of Heavenly Marrow Fluid and 50 Tempered Qi Pills each. Lin Tian pledges to remember his Wood Courtyard origins and assist the sect whenever he is able 277.
