Appearance

Frieza is a purple-and-white demon-like being who initially arrives seated in a small aircraft, with a tail swaying behind him. His transformations drastically alter his build and features. 25 27 29

Personality

Frieza considers himself noble and expects others to submit to his authority. He attempts to recruit powerful fighters, including Li Feng, but responds to rejection with threats of torture and death. 25

His confidence repeatedly turns to rage when Li Feng humiliates him. He is especially sensitive to mockery of his small final-form stature and becomes increasingly reckless as his transformations fail to secure victory. 27 30

Frieza is cruel and vindictive in battle. When he gains the advantage over Li Feng, he deliberately restrains himself from killing him immediately in order to torture him. 30

Story Role / Major Arcs

Namek Arrival and Recruitment Offer

Frieza arrives after the Ginyu Force's defeat, sensing the unusually high powers on Namek. He confronts Vegeta, Li Feng, and Wukong, offers Li Feng command of a replacement special force, and turns hostile after Li Feng rejects him. 25

Battle with Li Feng

Frieza fights Li Feng through his first, second, and third forms, but each escalation initially ends with Li Feng humiliating and injuring him. 26 28

In his Final Form, Frieza finally pushes Li Feng into a desperate battle. He exploits the advantage with Death Beams, sustained physical punishment, and Planet Destroyer. 29 30

Defeat and Death

Li Feng's Super Saiyan transformation reverses Frieza's Planet Destroyer and leaves Frieza unable to damage him even at full power. Frieza begs for mercy after Li Feng cuts off his tail with a Destructo Disc, then attempts to flee. Li Feng pursues and engulfs him in a Kamehameha. 31 33

Li Feng later uses the Namekian Dragon Balls to revive Frieza's innocent victims. 33

Legacy

Frieza's death motivates King Cold and Cooler to invade Earth with the Frieza Force, seeking vengeance against the Saiyans. 37
