Being swept up in his arms so suddenly stirred a different kind of thought in her. She wanted to take a real bite out of him, yet could not bear to bite hard. She merely parted her lips and whimpered twice, lightly tapping her teeth against Wizet's shoulder.
"Hiss!" Wizet acted as though she had truly bitten him. His shoulder twitched slightly, and he let out a muffled groan like he had sucked in a breath of cold air.
