"No! We go to the Department of Mysteries first!" Snape shook his head. "Did dittany sprout out of your brain just because the exams are over?"

"Barty Crouch Jr. was standing guard here and trying to lure us away. That can only mean one thing! It means... someone has already broken into the Department of Mysteries!"

Wizet frowned and followed Snape's line of reasoning, voicing his own guess. "What if the person who broke into the Department of Mysteries is Barty Crouch Jr.'s master, Voldemort?"

He glanced toward the Department of Mysteries. "Rather than rushing in and running into Voldemort head-on... I think informing Headmaster Dumbledore would be the wiser choice."

"The Dark Lord would never put himself at risk..." Snape said coldly. "At least not before his goal is achieved. He would never show himself in person. Otherwise, he would not have left Barty Crouch Jr. guarding this place!"

"Since Barty Crouch Jr. appeared here..." He glanced at the unconscious Barty Crouch Jr. "That can only mean the Dark Lord arranged for someone else to infiltrate the Department of Mysteries."

"I lived through that era. I know exactly what kind of person the Dark Lord is." He lowered his voice further. "Wizet, don't mistake a few fortunate victories for proof that the Dark Lord is a fool."

"Understood!" Wizet nodded. "Professor Snape, then let's go to the Department of Mysteries first!"

"Good!" Snape said no more and quickened his pace toward the door to the Department of Mysteries.

Wizet did not immediately follow. He raised his wand at Barty Crouch Jr. and cast several more spells before getting up to follow Snape.

The two disappeared one after the other through the door of the Department of Mysteries.
