Following the incredibly abundant magical fluctuations, Wizet hurried through a forest made up of the "World Tree."
Everything around him felt both familiar and unfamiliar, a pure, clean, wondrous sensation, as though everything was still at its starting point and held infinite possibilities.
The closer he drew to the source of the magical fluctuations, the more pronounced that feeling became, as if even the air had turned viscous.
Yet that viscosity did not bring suffocation or pressure. Instead, it brought an indescribable sense of fullness.
Before long, he passed through the final veil of branches and reached an open woodland clearing.
Countless figures had gathered there. Some stood, some sat, some leaned against "Thought," while others floated in midair. Their postures varied, and a faint halo enveloped each of them.
These figures gave Wizet the same feeling as Hermes Trismegistus had when he first encountered him through the copy of the Emerald Tablet.
Their faces were the same way, as though one could see both youth and old age at once—contradictory, yet unified.
Even their clothing, ornaments, and the objects they held resembled those of Hermes Trismegistus. They were so ancient that they seemed to exist at the end of time, rather than being products created by time.
Wizet narrowed his eyes slightly, his attention instinctively focusing on the figure nearest to him.
Both that figure and the "Gungnir" in his hand felt incomparably familiar to him.
After all, when he, Luna, and Xenophilius Lovegood had traveled through Sweden, they had witnessed that battle through "Gungnir." In the end, it had been that figure who sealed the Skeleton Figure, "My Lord."
Wizet was not the only one observing these figures. They were observing him as well.
