Background / History
Qing Mo is a transmigrator accompanied by a System. Early on, he dismisses most of its functions as unnecessary because he considers himself already at the pinnacle, though its ability to alter constitutions and talents catches his interest. 1
He is brought into the cultivation world by the Master of Myriad Daos, a peak Supreme Sovereign Realm expert who transfers a vast body of knowledge into him and asks for his aid. Qing Mo subsequently searches worlds and realms for materials connected to his master through karma. 2 4 64
Upon arriving in Liang City, Qing Mo swiftly establishes a fearsome reputation: he seals hostile cultivators, transports the Sword Pavilion and Tianlan Sect across vast distance, reviews the memories of everyone present, and leaves the implicated Li Family to be destroyed after locating a needed clue. 3 4
His travels expand beyond the cultivation world. He enters other worlds through dimensional passages, intervenes in their conflicts, gathers resources, trains allies, and repeatedly reshapes events according to his own judgment. 65 66 294 360
In the Spring and Autumn era, Qing Mo approaches Ying Zheng directly and becomes Great Qin's Imperial Preceptor. He helps Ying Zheng seize court authority, establishes the Black Ice Platform as a covert force loyal to Qin, and introduces paper, salt, medicine, and other means to strengthen the state. 1370 1372 1374 1379
Appearance
Qing Mo is consistently perceived as a strikingly handsome young man, despite his overwhelming cultivation and reputation. Ning Caichen describes him as tall and dashing, with sword-like brows, starry eyes, refined clothing, and an exceptional bearing. 171
- Usually presents himself as a young man in his early twenties. 511 968
- Often wears elegant robes, including ink-wash patterned attire. 360 458
- Has long black hair, sometimes tied into a topknot while the rest falls behind him. 360 639
- Commonly carries or keeps his sword, Lethe, close at hand. 61 212
Personality
Qing Mo is relaxed, sarcastic, and openly disdainful of authority he considers undeserving of respect. He dislikes the endless cycle of enemies seeking revenge after weaker subordinates are defeated, and he often ends such disputes through overwhelming displays of force. 4
He is highly possessive and protective toward people he accepts as his attendants, disciples, or companions. He publicly acknowledges Li Mochou as his maid and warns those seeking vengeance against her that they must be prepared to face him. 313
His compassion is selective. Qing Mo can heal injuries, restore bodies, offer cultivation guidance, and reward loyalty, but he also answers perceived insults or cruelty with harsh, disproportionate punishment. 17 51 97 210 902
Despite his status, he values freedom of action and refuses recruitment by organizations or clans when it would restrict him. 962 1159
