Background and History
Aisha is the daughter of Paul Greyrat and Lilia, as well as Hilde's younger half-sister. Though she had been only a little over a year old when she last saw Hilde, she remembered both Hilde holding her and their family relationship when they reunited after four years apart in Shirone Palace. Hilde rescued Aisha and Lilia from imprisonment and took them along toward Millishion. 137 138
During the journey, Aisha became fascinated by Hilde's swordsmanship. Hilde arranged for Shard to teach her North God Style basics despite her being only around four years old. 139 She later reunited with Paul in Millishion, but her schooling there became a source of resentment: noble students insulted her birth and status despite her academic ability, while Lilia urged her to endure the harassment rather than cause trouble. 150 190
Aisha and Norn's shared education also aggravated tensions between the sisters. Norn developed an inferiority complex over Aisha's superior ability, while Aisha chafed under Lilia's expectations and the treatment she received at school. Hilde ultimately decided that Aisha needed a different environment and arranged for her enrollment at Ranoa Magic University. 152 192
At Ranoa, Aisha entered as a special student and earned a perfect score on the entrance examination, allowing her to skip basic coursework and join upper-year classes. Hilde also placed her under Nanahoshi's supervision to study taboo teleportation and summoning magic. 219 227 233
When Hilde was presumed dead after a labyrinth expedition, Aisha was devastated and refused to accept that her sister had died without a body being found. She continued her research while holding onto the belief that Hilde would return. 274 281
Future Account
In an account of a future witnessed by Hilde, Aisha became Rudeus's secretary after he joined the Asura Kingdom's Royal Magician Corps. Following Rudeus's death, she succeeded him as commander and had not retired by the time of that account. 65
The same later-era Aisha was involved in Asuran political conflicts. She sought Hilde's aid to prevent Rishalia Speldia from destroying the kingdom and to stop Rudeus's descendants from killing one another. Aisha also revealed that she had personally killed Izolte Cruel during a struggle for the throne eighty years earlier. 66
Personality
Aisha possesses extraordinary confidence in her own intelligence and is openly contemptuous of people she considers incompetent. Even as a child, Hilde recognized the arrogance in her eyes; later, Aisha dismissed Asura's royal family and magician corps as incapable of keeping up with her work. 137 125
Her pride is partly shaped by her treatment in Millishion. She resented noble classmates who belittled her lineage and achievements, but she suppressed her anger because she trusted Lilia's instructions to endure for the family's sake. 190
Despite her calculating and occasionally manipulative side, Aisha is deeply attached to Hilde. Hilde's protection during their journey made her Aisha's ideal of strength and care, and Aisha's grief at Hilde's presumed death revealed how central that bond is to her. 175 274
As she matures, Aisha becomes increasingly self-driven. She pursues magical research not merely for recognition or wealth, but because she wants to become a source of support for Hilde in areas Hilde lacks the time or aptitude to pursue. 387
Abilities & Skills
Exceptional Memory and Academic Ability
Aisha retained memories of Hilde from infancy and recognized Sylphy through the familiar feeling of her head pats despite Sylphy's disguise. She later achieved a perfect score on Ranoa Magic University's entrance examination. 137 234 233
- Quickly understands advanced written material and unfamiliar magical terminology. 234
- Was placed directly into upper-year courses despite her age. 233
- Can rapidly identify structural and efficiency issues in magic circles. 274
Swordsmanship
Aisha began learning swordsmanship under Shard during her childhood journey with Hilde. 139
- Reached approximately beginner-level Water God Style swordsmanship before age six. 192
- Had a strong foundation but initially lacked consistent effort, prompting Hilde to impose stricter training. 192 201
- Continues physical and sword training alongside magical study. 227
Magic and Chantless Casting
Hilde trained Aisha to exhaust her mana through repeated casting and introduced her to chantless magic from an early age. 201
- Learns magic quickly and has a talent for obscure magical knowledge comparable to Rudeus's. 350
- Her innate mana capacity is described as a potential limitation on reaching beyond Emperor-class magic. 350
- Collaborated with Rudeus to reproduce his Lightning Magic through a magic circle. 350
Teleportation and Summoning Magic
Aisha studies teleportation and summoning magic under Nanahoshi, who came to regard her as a genius and potential research assistant. 227 234
- Contributed key frameworks and nodes to the team that completed an otherworld-transfer magic circle ahead of schedule. 305
- Proposed using summoning to anchor coordinates before reversing the process for teleportation. 283
- Works with restricted research materials, including Laplace's teleportation notes written in Fighting God Language. 283
- In the future account, created a hero-summoning magic circle by herself; she considered it an unreliable contingency because it could summon an unknown person rather than a guaranteed hero. 125
Magical Engineering
Aisha applies magic-circle theory to physical devices and armor.
- Recreated the magic-negation function of the Fighting God Armor in a prototype gauntlet. 331
- Completed Fighting God Armor Type II: Unit-01, a streamlined full-body armor optimized from existing theoretical knowledge. 352
- Developed the Lightning Venomous Dragon Drill as a secret weapon with Nanahoshi. 352
- Registered several magical projects under the Magic Guild and receives royalties sufficient to cover her living expenses. 386
