Nero hung high in the sky like a black sun, looking down directly at Gine.

After pondering for a long time, Nero shook his head and casually raised a hand toward the empty space before him. With a hum, a black vortex formed out of thin air. Without hesitation, Nero picked up Demigra's head and tossed it inside.

With a whoosh, he instructed the black vortex, "Nicholas, keep an eye on him. Don't let him run around." Then Nero lowered his head and cast a reluctant glance at Gine. "That guy is about to arrive. I'm leaving."

As soon as he spoke, he stepped into the black vortex. Yet just as his body was about to disappear completely, he turned his head and looked at Gine once more. His lips moved slightly, before he vanished entirely.

The black vortex soon collapsed as well, turning into particles and fading away without a trace.

Below, Gine still had her eyes wide open. Her delicate hand lifted slightly, clenching and loosening, then loosening and clenching again. At last, she let out a heavy sigh. "There's no going back anymore. Nero, farewell."
