The Active Niffler
Platform Nine and Three-Quarters.
"Don't push, don't rush, take your time, take your time."
A gaunt old guard stood by the wall pillar, letting only two or three people through at a time.
It was said that this was to avoid arousing suspicion from Muggle, if a large group of people were to squeeze out at the same time.
Lucien patiently waited in line, carrying his suitcase.
Although this wall pillar has an effect similar to Obliviate, allowing passing Muggle to ignore small groups of wizards and their parents coming and going, it becomes ineffective when there are many people around.
Lucien turned his head and looked around at his classmates. Everyone had taken off their robes and changed into Muggle clothes.
However, an owl in a cage is too conspicuous and too strange.
One or two is fine, it's just a child's unique hobby of keeping pets, but owls are the most popular wizarding pets in recent years, with nearly half of the students at Hogwarts owning an owl.
Imagine the reaction of the Muggle when they suddenly see a group of children pushing a bunch of luggage and carrying owls, pets that are not common in the Muggle world.
Placing the Hogwarts Express in Muggle train station and hiding Platform Nine and Three-Quarters in the gaps certainly has a fantastical feel, but it's also quite inconvenient for large-scale travel.
Suddenly, Lucien felt his pocket move and glimpsed a small platinum paw sticking out.
Lucien quickly covered his mouth and whispered:
"Wait a little longer, I'll give you more little toys when we get home."
Perhaps due to the Niffler's racial talent, it always manages to slip out from various gaps and spaces. As it grows, Jinji becomes increasingly lively, and this is not the first time it has "escaped."
Lucien also discovered that as long as Jinji was given some Winky treasures like gold and silver jewelry, the little guy would stay still for a while, decorate his little nest, and then start a new adventure.
Once we get home, it will be easier to obtain the treasures, and we won't have to trouble Aunt Penelope to send them again.
Thanks to the animal communication ability granted by the Unicorn's blessing, Jinji was able to understand what Lucien was conveying, and thus obediently retracted its paw.
"Hey, Lucien, you have a pet now?"
Hermione happened to see the furry little paw sticking out of Lucien's pocket and asked him a question out of curiosity.
"Hehe, it was a gift from a friend; the child is still young."
As soon as Lucien finished speaking, it was their turn to go out.
Harry Ron, who had gone out ahead, was already waiting there. Lucien quickly recognized the Weasleys by their distinctive red hair.
"Grafton, it's a pleasure to meet you. You're quite the handsome young man."
The kind lady next to Ron smiled at Lucien and spoke very warmly.
Lucien also gave a polite smile.
"Mrs. Weasley, just call me Lucien. Thank you for the sweater; it's very comfortable and looks great on me."
"Hehe, I'm glad you like it, Lucien. Ron always mentions you in his letters. I really want to thank you for helping this child. You must come visit us during the summer vacation!"
Lucien could sense Mrs. Weasley's sincerity and friendliness, and had originally planned to go during the summer vacation.
"Ron studies very hard and achieved excellent results in his grade."
"Thank you for the invitation. I will definitely visit you during the summer vacation."
Before Mrs. Weasley could say anything after hearing Lucien's words, Ron had already pulled a piece of paper out of his pocket.
The paper was folded neatly. Ron excitedly unfolded it and handed it to his Mother.
"Mom, it's all thanks to Lucien teaching me that I was able to get this score. Fred George even gave me a toilet seat as a keepsake..."
The first part of the sentence made Mrs. Weasley smile broadly, but her smile froze when she heard the second part.
She happened to catch a glimpse of the twins walking out from behind the pillar, arm in arm, looking all smiles and laughter.
Lucien, who was watching this scene, had a half-smile on his lips. He hadn't expected Ron to have such a cunning side, plotting against his two brothers.
I guess they're used to being pranked by their twin brother, so they finally got a chance. The brothers have such a good relationship.
Lucien suddenly noticed something amiss in his pocket. Looking down, he saw Jinji peeking out, his eyes fixed on a passing woman, staring intently at the necklace around her neck, the earrings on her ears, and the ring on her finger...
Lucien gently pressed Jinji back down again, and couldn't help but sigh at the many temptations in the Muggle world.
Back in school, everyone was a student, or a wizard, so very few people wore jewelry or anything like that. But at this bustling train station, there were pocket watches, necklaces, bracelets, and all sorts of other things. Niffler must be overwhelmed by all the choices.
Lucien also noticed the little girl nestled beside Mrs. Weasley. Her eyes were wide, her mouth slightly open, as she looked at Lucien's pocket and then at his face.
The little girl has brown eyes, thick, fiery red hair, and fine freckles that make her look very cute.
Ginny Weasley.
Lucien smiled at Ginny and subtly made a shushing gesture with his finger.
Ginny blushed slightly, then pursed her lips and nodded to Lucien, as if to say Lucien would keep his secret.
After chatting with the Weasley family for a few more minutes, they parted ways.
Harry couldn't help but sigh softly as he left. His joyful and fulfilling school life had come to an end, because he saw again Uncle Vernon's round face, which was as red as a purplish hue, and Aunt Petunia and Dudley behind him, looking anxious and worried.
"Harry, I'm going now, goodbye."
Lucien greeted Harry and then headed in another direction, where Loxia was already waiting for him.
Ah, goodbye.
Harry waved at Lucien.
Vernon, standing nearby, wanted to urge them on, unwilling to waste any more time on Harry and his friend's conversation.
But the thought of Harry spending a year at some wizarding or magician's school and making friends with all sorts of weirdos comes to mind.
Vernon said no more; he found it annoying to even exchange a single word with this group.
Walking slowly behind his uncle's family, Harry couldn't help but look forward to Lucien's promise to come.
Harry was happy that his friend would come to visit him during the holidays, but he was also worried that his friend would discover his predicament when he thought about his usual living conditions.
Harry couldn't understand why Lucien had asked him about his Uncle Vernon's company...
"Hurry up and catch up! Do you really want us to waste the whole day on you?!"
Hearing Vernon's angry voice, Harry pursed his lips, thinking that since his aunt and uncle's family didn't know he was forbidden from using magic, he might as well scare Dudley.
"I hope this summer vacation won't be too boring..."
