Fountain of Fair Fortune
After parting ways with Shafiq, Maxime looked at Lucien:
"Lucien Grafton, the youngest recipient of the Order of Merlin, First Class, you truly are one of Hogwarts's most outstanding talents."
During the summer vacation, Maxime took Phoebe to visit Nicolas Flamel, only to miss him after a brief glance at his student.
Later, all that was known was that the student was studying at Hogwarts; no further information was sought.
However, Maxime quickly realized that if he held an exchange competition themed around alchemy, Lucien, as a student of a legendary Alchemy, would have no reason not to attend.
Anyway, I was already planning to warm up for the Triwizard Tournament, which was restarted after a century, and this would also be a good opportunity to meet Lucien.
After hearing that a young man from Hogwarts had recently received the Order of Merlin, First Class, Maxime became even more certain that the young man was Nicolas Flamel's student.
Upon hearing Madame Maxime mention him by name, Lucien stepped forward and greeted her with standard courtesy.
"I am very honored to be here at your esteemed school for this exchange program, Madam."
As he bowed, Lucien caught a glimpse of a young girl behind Maxime out of the corner of his eye; she emanated a faint silver light.
The girl's stunningly beautiful face was arguably the most beautiful woman Lucien had ever seen, without exception.
The other person was tall and slender, with a head of golden hair that shone strangely in the silver light, and a pair of large, bright blue eyes that were fixed on Lucien.
Suddenly, Lucien felt his heart race, his cheeks flush, and his breathing become slightly rapid.
The beautiful girl was like a whirlpool, gradually drawing in and engulfing his gaze.
This perfectly captures the feeling of being smitten.
Lucien's mind stirred, and his brows furrowed slightly. As magic flowed, his dark green eyes deepened.
The initial feeling of excitement vanished instantly.
Phoebe Delacour, even with only a portion of Veela blood, possesses such allure...
The group entered the campus.
Walking through Beauxbatons, Lucien looked around at the buildings with great interest, finding them quite different from Hogwarts.
In contrast to the understated mystery of Hogwarts, Beauxbatons exudes magnificence and nobility.
From the perspective of the architecture itself, Hogwarts is a huge castle, Beauxbatons is a complex of palaces, which are vast in area but not very tall, generally only three or four stories high.
Walking along the central corridor of the palace, the elegant statues and decorations add a touch of French romance.
The group arrived in the courtyard.
rustling--
The sound of water was incessant.
A grand fountain stands in the center of the courtyard, surrounded by a dozen smaller fountains that regularly spout water jets and are interconnected and extended through a complex water channel system.
Despite the cold weather, these fountains have not frozen and the water continues to flow.
At the center of the fountain stand two stone statues, a man and a woman, each raising a wand, from which clear spring water gushes forth, splashing into the pool.
Lucien immediately recognized the statues as those of Mr. Nicolas and Mrs. Perenelle.
Although still far away, his exceptional eyesight allowed him to clearly see the inscription on the side of the fountain:
"Never Forget Youth and Beauty – Nicolas Flamel & Perenelle Flamel"
Lucien recalled his conversation with Hermione before he left, during which the little witch shared a lot of information about Beauxbatons, including the Fountain of Fair Fortune.
When the fountain was mentioned, Hermione became unusually shy, saying she was very Fountain of Fair Fortune could make people more beautiful and younger, and especially wanted to study the magical principles behind it, blah blah blah...
Lucien naturally saw through the little witch's thoughts and sighed inwardly that the love of beauty truly permeates a woman's entire life.
He wondered if he should develop some beauty and skincare-related potions and alchemical items; how could he have overlooked such a huge market...?
