Cupid's Valentine's Day
The night wind was chilly.
As Lucien strolled through the campus of Beauxbatons, he checked the newly triggered loans.
[Loan: Advanced Elemental Fire Emblem]
[Repayment period: 30 days]
[Loan Details: Obtain advanced fire elemental runes, increase the host's affinity for fire elements, increase the speed of learning fire magic, and increase the power of fire magic by 50%]
Most of the recent loans are related to elemental magic runes, which was suggested by Lucien and the system, but what he really cares about are the loan missions.
[Loan Mission: Valentine's Day Showdown - Use alchemy, potions, Transfiguration, and other magical means to intensify the festive atmosphere and allow young men and women, whether yearning for love or already in a relationship, to celebrate this day.]
Lucien frowned involuntarily. He really wanted the fire elemental rune, because that would leave only the wind elemental rune.
But this task...
The requirements are too vague; how can we make the Valentine's Day atmosphere more festive?
His first thought was of the original story, where Lockhart would "pull some pranks" on Valentine's Day.
This includes, but is not limited to, hiring dwarves to wear wings and carry harps for cosplay, having them deliver love letters and greeting cards to students, turning Hogwarts into a chaotic mess, and causing other professors, especially Snape, to want to poison Lockhart...
Lucien communicated with the system using consciousness:
"System, this task, like improving the Fountain of Fair Fortune, will ultimately be decided by you?"
[Yes, we look forward to your performance, host!]
Well, it's that time of year again—serving the client.
How did I end up doing the work of the Matchmaker God? Oh no, in this context, it should be Cupid's responsibility?
How about making some Alchemy Puppet, modeled after Cupid with Cupid hair and angelic features, to deliver love letters? That idea is worth trying, though it needs some tweaking.
Lucien realized that he was developing some magic potions and alchemical products for beauty and skincare, which would fit the Valentine's Day theme perfectly.
Valentine's Day, well, February 14th. By then, I would have already returned to Hogwarts.
Haha, at least they're playing at home.
Lucien could only console himself with the thought that if the loan task had to be completed in Beauxbatons, it would be too inconvenient and somewhat socially awkward.
[Ding! Loan application successful!]
[Comment: Love is like a blazing flame; will Cupid, who shoots Cupid's arrow, find his own love?]
The next morning.
Walking through the snow- Pyrenees, Lucien couldn't help but yawn, his exhaled white mist quickly dissipating.
The chill emanating from the snow and ice couldn't dispel his drowsiness. Last night, Professor Shafiq gave him and Riemann extra lessons, but after the lecture, Riemann still only had a vague understanding.
As a result, just like in the last qualifiers, Professor Shafiq suddenly quit and had Lucien take over the teaching.
Lucien was already quite used to teaching people; he just felt like he'd been drafted again.
He pulled a bottle of Ox-Horse Potion from his pocket, unscrewed the cap,
"Ton ton ton--"
With the combined effects of the potion and the cold, Lucien fully regained consciousness. He subtly activated his magic, and the snowflakes falling from the sky automatically avoided him.
After exploring the mountains, Lucien quickly found his target.
In the distance, on an open field, several giant horses, each the size of an elephant, were gathered together.
They have golden fur, silver mane, and bright red eyes like flames.
A faint flame covered its back and tail, and the heat it emitted melted away all the surrounding snowflakes.
Lucien observed these local Magical Creatures, the Abraxan.
He took out two wine barrels and walked towards the herd of horses.
