Family
Grafton Manor.
"Tap tap--"
The silver-white knight's armor was assembled. Aunt Penelope stepped forward, tapped the arm guards with her finger, and the metal produced a crisp echo.
She examined it carefully for a moment, her tone filled with obvious curiosity. "Does this armor sing like the ones in your school?"
"Not yet." Lucien put away his wand, patted the shoulder of his armor, and chuckled, "Of course, if Auntie wants to hear it, I can add that function to it."
Penelope quickly waved her hand. "Never mind, I was just asking out of curiosity. A suit of armor that can talk and sing might scare other people."
He then walked around the armor again, looking it over from head to toe, and exclaimed in admiration, "Lucien has really grown up to be able to create such amazing armor!"
She stood with her hands behind her back, but her gaze shifted from the armor to Lucien. Lucien recognized that look; it carried a certain calculating intent that was hard to conceal.
"Speaking of which," Penelope smoothly changed the subject, "When are you planning to meet the second daughter of the Swinton family? Both Neville and the Beaumont family got engaged recently, the two of them who are about your age."
Lucien sighed, "Auntie, I'm still a few days away from my thirteenth birthday."
"That's fast, isn't it?" Penelope stepped forward and gestured to show Lucien's height. "Look, you're almost as tall as me. I was quite surprised when you opened the door after you came home for vacation."
Penelope is quite tall, while Lucien is already up to her eyebrows. Maybe next summer vacation, or rather, maybe next winter vacation, he'll be taller than her.
Although he was already in puberty and growing rapidly, Lucien didn't know why he was growing even faster than his peers.
It might be related to some magical influence, but he wasn't quite sure why, because he was exposed to so many things in his daily life. Just thinking about things related to life force brought to mind the Liuguang and the sapling of the Apples of Youth tree that he was always with...
Maybe if you give it a little Liuguang or tend to it while you're looking after the sapling, it will grow a little longer?
Penelope continued her calculations, "Hmm, or perhaps you actually prefer girls from the magical world? That makes sense. After all, you're surrounded by fellow wizards every day now, so you have more to talk about, and your perspectives are similar..."
She lowered her voice slightly, a knowing smile playing on her lips, "That little girl I bumped into in Diagon Alley, and the one in the photo from when she went to school abroad, they're both so exquisite..."
Despite his aunt's constant urging to get married and go on blind dates, Lucien wasn't annoyed; he understood her intentions.
His parents died early, and as the only bloodline of Penelope's younger brother, he is also the sole heir of the Grafton family.
In this world, Lucien could only see his parents, whom he had never met, through photographs, and frankly, he wouldn't have any feelings for them.
But his aunt was different; she cared for and raised him like a child for over a decade, making her a true family member.
Whether from the perspective of relatives and elders or from the perspective of family legacy, Penelope is very concerned about his life's major events.
At least on the point of continuing their bloodline, wizards and Muggle are quite in agreement.
"Okay," Lucien finally picked up where his aunt left off, his tone gentle, "I'll go see him, don't worry, Aunt."
Penelope's eyes lit up, and she was about to continue her offensive when Lucien's Instant Whisper in his pocket suddenly "dinged".
He took out the thin booklet, and after seeing the information, his expression froze slightly.
The message Newt sent was short, but it contained a lot of information.
"You have to go through official channels to apply for the keeping of those Magical Creatures..."
