Operating under the identity of Xue Qinghe, Qian Renxue visits the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect as the Heaven Dou Empire's crown prince. She offers high-quality spirit bones to Ye Yun, Xiao Wu, and Tang San in an attempt to win over the sect's emerging geniuses, but becomes wary after Ye Yun's power injures her when she attempts to examine him. 24 25

After witnessing Ye Yun's [Harmony] power, she regards the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect and Ye Yun's growing force as a threat. She selectively reports the situation to Emperor Xue Ye to provoke opposition to the sect while buying time for Spirit Hall, then personally investigates the sect's construction and activities. 26 27 28 30

Qian Renxue later infiltrates the sect under the alias Xiao Xue. She uses a soul-bone disguise technique, suppresses her cultivation to level 45, and registers as a seventeen-year-old Holy Sword martial soul user seeking to join the clan.
