Zheng Wu is one of Master Luo Qianshan's true disciples at Gold-Stone Martial Arts Hall. Alongside Senior Brother Luo and Senior Sister Lin, he exceeded 40 Vitality points early and reached Professional Grade. 13

He receives Lu Chao when the latter first visits the hall, personally explaining its distinction between ordinary students and Training Building disciples. After Lu Chao endures the initial three-day adjustment period, Zheng Wu formally welcomes him into the Training Building. 7 12

Zheng Wu identifies with Lu Chao's perseverance and lower-class background, which remind him of his former self. He believes Lu Chao has a chance to break through Rock Skin and become Combat Grade, even while acknowledging that aptitude and resources heavily affect a martial artist's ceiling. 14

After the wilderness hunting-party disaster, Zheng Wu assists with the aftermath at the hall, personally seeing off Junior Brother Xu's grieving parents. He resolves to seek justice for Xu, ensure the compensation owed to him is secured, and continue caring for his parents. 130
