Background / History

Shrek Academy has maintained ties with Di Tian for more than twenty thousand years. Its historical legacy is associated with the Golden Ancient Tree and Eternal Sky Tree, which witnessed Shrek’s rise, decline, and successive generations of members. 4 6

By the opening of the story, Shrek and the Tang Sect are engaged in a long-running political struggle with the Douluo Federation. Shrek publicly supports Di Tian’s divine tribulation, but requests additional observation seats, priority access to Di Tian should he become a spirit soul, and further soul-beast remains for the Tang Sect’s Ecological Warship project. 1

Shrek’s leadership sees Di Tian’s planned human transformation as a major recruitment opportunity. Elder Shu intends to bring him into the academy and turn the King of Soul Beasts into a symbol of Shrek’s “Ten-Thousand-Year Glory.” 3

Organization and Education

Sea God Pavilion

The Sea God Pavilion is represented by god-level figures including Elder Shu, Wang Tianyu, and Yi Zichen. Elder Shu and Wang Tianyu serve as deputy pavilion masters, while Yi Zichen holds higher authority and can directly command them. 3 5

Main Academy

The Eternal Sky Tree, the life core of the Douluo Demi-God Realm, has taken root at Shrek Academy. Shrek is described as possessing exceptional cultivation resources, educational resources, and living conditions. 6

Shrek promotes its inner court as a place where students may pursue godhood. Its curriculum teaches that reaching level 100 requires both cultivation resources and a further opportunity, with the academy presenting its history of producing gods as evidence of its advantage. 52

Shrek Seven Devils

The title of Shrek Seven Devils is Shrek’s foremost student distinction and is presented as a path that greatly improves one’s prospects of reaching godhood. Branch-academy students may compete for the title in seven-person teams. 53

Shrek sought the branch as a means of expanding its influence on Elf Planet. Its prior Senluo Branch reportedly produced graduates who publicly identified themselves as Shrek members despite not studying at Shrek’s main academy. 6

The branch initially operates from an unfinished campus. Its student dormitories are container structures placed near a transplanted ancient tree of life seed, which has not yet grown enough to house students within its trunk or branches. 37

A later objective is thought-sharing among multiple Ecological Warships, enabling hive-cluster combat.
