Background / History

Xu Xiaoyan is Xu Wei’s daughter and Xu Xiaoyu’s younger sister. She first encounters Xu Yue with her father at the Blacksmith Association parking lot, where she feels an unexplained attraction to him. Mu Xi immediately notices Xiaoyan’s attention toward Xu Yue and reacts protectively. 8

She joins Xu Yue’s class at Eastsea City Junior Academy as an eleventh-level Soul Master. Initially timid under the attention of the classroom, she asks to sit beside Xu Yue and later gathers the courage to invite him on a walk after school. 10

During that walk, Xu Yue identifies the exceptional star attribute within her Starwheel Ice Staff. Under the influence of Eden’s Star, her martial soul evolves into the Star Staff while retaining its original Ice Staff form. The two forms share one soul ring and can only be switched once within a short period. 11 12

Her affinity with Xu Yue proves to be a martial soul fusion skill. Their first successful fusion manifests the Herrscher of Meteoric Ice, which creates a fifty-meter blizzard and displays powerful ice-element control and defense. 13
