Another Wave Rises (Part 1)

Everyone had wanted to go, but after Lin Yuan talked them over, they ultimately decided that only the six of them would go.

Goku also felt there was no need for too many people to go. After all, he thought they were only going to search for the Dragon Balls.

Lin Yuan originally hadn't wanted Tien Shinhan to go either, but Tien Shinhan insisted on doing his part, so there was nothing to be done.

Everyone left Kame House Island. Those who needed to train trained, those who needed to build a spaceship built one, and those who needed to placate their wives placated them...

Lin Yuan also took the child home.

Early the next morning, Lin Yuan had barely gotten up when he saw Goku and Gohan.

"Yo! Lin Yuan, I'm here."

"Excuse us, Uncle Lin Yuan."

Part of that increase came from being revived after death and stacking his passive once.

When Goku fought Vegeta, however, his battle power was only 7,000 because he had stacked his passive one fewer time.

After Goku fought Vegeta, he was exhausted. Once he ate a Senzu Bean and recovered his strength, his battle power increased again. Goku noticed it, but he had yet to put it into practice.

The moment Goku entered the Gravity Chamber, his eyes lit up. He looked here and touched there.

"Wow, Lin Yuan, is this the Gravity Chamber that can be adjusted up to one hundred times gravity? This is so cool! I can't wait to try it."

Lin Yuan smiled and said to Goku, "Haha, no rush, Goku. Actually, besides training, there's something else I wanted to tell you today. It's about going to Namek."

"Don't worry about that. I already begged Chi-Chi, and with Gohan insisting on going, she's agreed. Besides, it's not like there's any danger."

Goku thought Lin Yuan was going to talk about whether Chi-Chi would let Gohan go, so he answered casually.

At those words, both Goku and Gohan looked shocked.

From Lin Yuan's words, they learned that this evil force had a leader far stronger than Vegeta, and even several of his subordinates were stronger than Vegeta!

"Wow... I never thought there were so many powerful fighters in the world!"

"If that's true, then won't our chances of getting the Dragon Balls be really slim?"

Goku and Gohan said respectively.

"Yes. I just want you to be mentally prepared. When the time comes, it won't just be a fierce battle, but a chaotic melee. Yet no matter what, we can't avoid fighting over the Dragon Balls, and sooner or later, we'll clash with that strongest leader!"

Lin Yuan nodded.

"So while we still have three months, we need to raise our strength as much as possible. I probably won't be able to improve much more during this time, but you two can."

"Goku, you're a Saiyan. I don't know if you've noticed, but whenever your body is on the brink of death, or you recover your strength after being badly injured, your power increases dramatically!"

Goku fell into thought. Now that Lin Yuan mentioned it, that really did seem to be the case!

"Seems like it really is! During my last fight with Vegeta, I had used up all my strength, and my body was about to give out. But after I ate a Senzu Bean, not only did my injuries heal, but my strength seemed to increase by quite a bit too!"

"Could it be related to my Saiyan physique?" Goku had guessed correctly.

Lin Yuan nodded and took a bag filled with Senzu Beans from his clothes. There were around twenty of them, and he handed it to Goku.

"That's right. You and Gohan can use your Saiyan bloodline and the Senzu Beans in the Gravity Chamber to rapidly increase your strength in a short time!"

Goku accepted the Senzu Beans, his face full of excitement. "Haha, if that's the case, then that's great. I was just worried about how we'd deal with those aliens, but now that we have this training method, I feel much more confident. Thanks, Lin Yuan!"

Gohan was equally excited when he heard that, because it meant he could become stronger too. Only by becoming stronger would he have a better chance of bringing Piccolo back to life.

While Earth's warriors were all training diligently, a spherical spaceship was speeding toward Earth.
