Another Wave (Part 2)

North Galaxy

On one of Frieza's outpost planets.

A humanoid creature covered in stripes, with hands like eagle talons, was continuously tapping away at a machine with his claws.

Beside him stood a massive cultivation tank filled with green liquid. Inside, a completely naked man was recovering from his injuries.

"Hmm, judging by the data, Lord Vegeta's treatment will be complete any moment now!"

As soon as he spoke, several bubbles rose in the liquid inside the tank. Immediately after, the lines on the machine began fluctuating noticeably.

Vegeta suddenly opened his eyes inside the tank.

Beep!

The green liquid drained away completely, and the hatch immediately opened.

Vegeta slowly stepped out. The alien creature beside him hurriedly said, "Lord Vegeta, you have fully recovered. But unfortunately, I have no way to make your tail regenerate!"

Vegeta glanced at him and said in a low voice, "It's fine. It'll grow back on its own!"

"Oh, right, Lord Vegeta. Lord Cui said that once you had recovered from your injuries, you were to go see him."

"Hmph. Someone like him thinks he deserves for me to go see him?"

With that, Vegeta picked up the scouter beside him, got dressed, and walked out of the treatment room. He clenched his fist, feeling out his strength. It was truly wonderful! He could feel that his power had made another tremendous leap!

As Vegeta walked, he pondered, I gave Frieza false information. I wonder if he fell for it. I need to get to Namek as quickly as possible, before that guy gets there first. As long as I obtain eternal life, I'll grind Frieza beneath my feet! And those people on Earth...

Just as Vegeta was fantasizing about his grand ambitions, a voice he loathed interrupted his thoughts.

"Vegeta, I heard you got beaten pretty badly. Even Nappa and Raditz died. Aren't you Saiyans supposed to be the strongest warrior race? So this day has come for you too, huh?"

Vegeta looked toward the voice and saw a purple-skinned fellow with two large holes atop his head staring at him mockingly.

"Cui! Get lost! Don't block my way!"

Vegeta snapped at him, completely ignoring Cui as he walked past.

"Hey! Vegeta, I heard King Frieza is very displeased by your Saiyans acting on your own. Well... but..."

"Hm? But what?" Vegeta raised a brow, unsure what this guy was up to.

"But considering the useful information you provided last time, King Frieza has decided not to pursue the matter!"

"Hmph."

Vegeta snorted coldly and continued forward, putting on his scouter as he went. He arrived at his spherical spacecraft and climbed inside. With a few practiced taps on the control panel, the ship slowly rose into the air.

"Namek, here I come! Frieza, one day, I'll crush you beneath my feet!"

With a whoosh, the spacecraft vanished beyond the horizon...

Earth, West City

Universal Capsule Headquarters.

Bulma had now reached the final stage of researching the spaceship. All that was left was the high-end sound system!

The spaceship could be said to have everything: a training room, bathroom, rest area, cafeteria...

All that remained was to install the best sound system, and it would be done! Bulma wiped the sweat from her forehead and looked proudly at her masterpiece.

Beep beep beep!

Suddenly, a round device in Bulma's pocket began to sound. She took it out, and after checking it, her expression instantly froze before panic took over.

"Th-this is... an unidentified flying object is approaching Earth's atmosphere at an extremely high speed!"

As she spoke, Bulma called Lin Yuan while running toward the Universal Capsule company.

The device in her hand could only serve as an alert. There was a larger device at the company that could detect more specific information!

Lin Yuan was currently training in the Gravity Chamber when the display in the room suddenly lit up. It was one of the martial arts school's disciples.

"What is it?"

"Master Lin Yuan, you have a call."

The disciple spoke with an excited expression and held his phone screen up to the camera.

The phone displayed: Caller—Bulma.

"Alright, I'll be right out."

After lowering the gravity from twenty times to normal, Lin Yuan walked out of the Gravity Chamber.

Has the spaceship been completed? Lin Yuan wondered.

Lin Yuan then answered the call, only to hear an anxious voice from the other end.

"Lin Yuan, something's wrong. I detected a flying object rapidly approaching Earth. It'll reach Earth in only 5.4 minutes!"

"What? I'll be right there!"

Lin Yuan hung up with his left hand and placed his right hand on his forehead. The next second, he appeared directly in front of Bulma.

Seeing Lin Yuan arrive, Bulma let out a slight sigh of relief and said to him, "See for yourself!"

Lin Yuan walked over to the instrument and looked at a red dot rapidly approaching Earth. Who could it be? Vegeta? Or one of Frieza's men?

Lin Yuan frowned tightly and immediately had Bulma call Tien Shinhan, while he went to find Goku.

When he arrived at the Lin family's backyard, Lin Yuan patted the door of the Gravity Chamber and shouted inside.

"Goku, it's urgent! Stop training for now!"

About ten seconds later, the Gravity Chamber door opened, and the bare-chested Goku and Gohan walked out. A powerful aura washed over him.

With no time to be shocked, Lin Yuan explained everything to Goku...

"Who could it be?" Goku had no clue after hearing it either. Even Lin Yuan had no idea, so Goku certainly wouldn't.

Just then, Goku, Gohan, and Lin Yuan all shuddered inwardly. They had sensed that aura. That meant the group had already landed! And this aura definitely did not belong to Vegeta—it was stronger than Vegeta's!

In a forest somewhere on Earth, a huge round spacecraft sat on the ground. As its hatch slowly opened, several people stepped out.

"Plant the seeds here. Hurry! There are several strong fighters on this planet."

"Yes!"

The leader gave orders to his subordinates. Before landing, he had checked with his scouter and discovered that this planet actually had several beings with battle powers above ten thousand. The strongest among them even had a battle power of fifty thousand!

"Let's just hope they haven't noticed us. Could it be Kakarot?"

At that moment, one of the subordinates found an open patch of ground. With a wave of his hand, he blasted a huge crack into it, then tossed a seed inside.

"Hmph, what a beautiful planet. Too bad it's about to disappear!"

In just one second, the seed took root and sprouted, growing at an astonishing speed.

By then, Lin Yuan had arrived at the scene with Goku and Gohan. At a glance, they spotted the person standing beneath the spacecraft. He wore traditional Saiyan battle armor, with a brown tail wrapped around his waist.

When they clearly saw his face, all three were stunned.

Goku was shocked because the man looked exactly like him!

Gohan was shocked because the man looked exactly like his father!

And Lin Yuan found it unbelievable! Th-this was Turles!
