The Oppressive Aura of Super Four

No matter which world he came from, Son Goku could never shake off his obsession with martial arts.

Although Goku in the Z era also pursued strength, he gave off the air of a grandmaster. During the Cell saga, he urged Gohan to finish Cell quickly, lest Cell be driven into a corner and do something drastic. After dying, he gave up on being revived for Earth's safety. Though he gave Cell a Senzu Bean, it was also to better showcase Gohan's strength. Put simply, he had things under control. In the Majin Buu saga, he nurtured the next generation, passing the burden of protecting Earth down from one generation to the next.

But by the Super era, Goku had completely changed. His excessive pursuit of power set the stage for the Tournament of Power. During the Moro saga, when Moro begged Goku for mercy, Goku actually gave the only Senzu Bean to Moro. That was just ridiculous. Could you really keep him under control? If you wanted to show kindness, couldn't you just give him some energy like the King did? Why insist on making things harder for yourself? If not for the divine power of the Grand Supreme Kai remaining inside Uub, Earth would have been GG.

"As you wish."

Vegito stared at Gogeta and spoke slowly.

Vegito clenched his fists, veins bulging across his forehead as terrifying power burst from within him. Golden light flared around his body as he entered Super Saiyan 4.

Super Saiyan 4 exuded an overwhelming sense of pressure. His long hair draped over his shoulders, his muscles brimmed with power, his tail swayed freely, and his ambitious bearing left Son Goku No. 1 staring blankly from afar.

"Amazing!!!"

Son Goku No. 1 said excitedly, his body already itching for a fight.

Piccolo's face had turned green with fright. He had not entered the Hyperbolic Time Chamber with Vegito and the others, so he had naturally never seen this wild-looking Super Saiyan 4.

"I'm coming."

Vegito warned Gogeta.

Vegito's figure vanished in an instant.

"What??"

Gogeta's pupils contracted. He could not see Vegito's movements at all before he was instantly sent flying by a kick. While airborne, Gogeta hurriedly steadied himself and searched all around for Vegito's figure.

But before he could find him, he was sent flying again. After taking several blows in midair, Gogeta was smashed viciously into the ground.

"Ultimate Kamehameha~~"

Vegito unleashed his ultimate move directly at Gogeta. Amid the ruins, Gogeta raised both hands to block, but he could not withstand it at all. Fortunately, Vegito withdrew most of the energy at the last moment, knocking Gogeta out of fusion.

Vegito slowly landed, raised a hand, and cast healing magic. (I don't know whether the people of Planet Yardrat can do this, but I'm setting it up so they can. Since they have divine techniques like Instant Transmission and Forced Spirit Fission, there's no reason they wouldn't know simple healing magic.) Son Goku and Vegeta recovered instantly.

"As expected, you're amazing, Vegito!"

Son Goku praised him.

"Hmph. Sooner or later, I'll transform like that too."

Vegeta still wore an arrogant expression.

At that moment, the others flew over from afar. After a brief exchange, they turned to Son Goku No. 1 and asked about the situation in his world.

Son Goku No. 1 briefly explained how their timeline had developed. The divergence began when Frieza invaded Earth. In this timeline, because Trunks had not traveled in a time machine, the androids ran rampant. Timeline No. 1, on the other hand, followed the original storyline, but a change occurred when Majin Buu appeared. Vegeta was absorbed by Majin Buu, that man never appeared, and all the warriors were absorbed. If Majin Buu had not come looking for death, Timeline No. 1 really would have been ruled by Majin Buu.

"Let's head back to West City first. They must be getting anxious over there too. We can talk properly once we're back."

"You go on ahead. I'll deal with Majin Buu's egg and that Fat Buu."

After saying that, Vegito flew away.

Meanwhile, Son Goku used Instant Transmission to take the group back to West City.

Vegito found Majin Buu's egg amid a field of ruins. Since Babidi had not cast his spell, Majin Buu had not absorbed any energy. Otherwise, after Vegito and Gogeta's earlier battle, Majin Buu would have broken out of his shell long ago.

"How should I handle this?"

Vegito felt a little troubled. Majin Buu was, at most, on the level of Super Saiyan 3. He would not be much help to Vegito.

"Maybe I should take him back to my timeline. Buu's healing magic would be very useful during that period, and he could protect Tights's family too. Not bad, not bad."

Vegito nodded and muttered to himself.

Then Vegito searched around for Fat Buu's whereabouts and found him beneath a pile of rubble. Vegito did not intend to take this Fat Buu. After all, he had a deep bond with Mr. Satan, and Vegito already had a Buu of his own, so he would not steal someone else's beloved companion.

Vegito then carried Fat Buu back to the egg. For now, he did not intend to let Majin Buu out. He would take the egg back for Bulma here to study first, then bring it to his original timeline for Dr. Brief to research. Once its value had been fully maximized, he would let him out.

And so, Vegito returned to West City with the two Buus.

On this side, everyone who had been absorbed had awakened. They sat around the dining table and stuffed themselves wildly, leaving the people serving dishes dumbfounded. Were these people starving ghosts reborn or something? How could they eat so much?!

"Yo, everyone's here."

Vegito sat down and began digging in as well. After that fight, he was a little hungry.

Seeing that Vegito had finished eating, Son Goku No. 1 eagerly stepped forward. Behind him came Vegeta No. 1, Gohan No. 1, and the two little ones. There was no need to ask—they all wanted to see Super Saiyan 4 for themselves.

"Um, Vegito, what was that form of yours? Is it a new Saiyan transformation?"

Son Goku No. 1 asked bluntly.

Earlier, Goku No. 1 had learned from Goku that only Gogeta could currently use that transformation. They did not know exactly how it worked, so they told Goku No. 1 to ask Gogeta himself. Vegeta No. 1 overheard them, and the two little ones also wanted to see the wild transformation Goku No. 1 had mentioned, so they all came along.

"Okay, okay. I'll let you see it."

Having just finished a meal, Gogeta was in a good mood and agreed to their request.

So the group went out to the open space beside the house.

"You already know all the transformations before Super Saiyan, so I won't go over them. Super Saiyan 4 is a transformation I achieved by drawing out the power of my tail."

As he spoke, Gogeta flicked the tail behind him.

"Super Saiyan 4!!"

The people from Timeline No. 1, along with Piccolo, were somewhat shocked. The others, having already seen it before, appeared especially calm.

Bulma and Tights, however, looked speechless. After all, they did not understand fighting or know how to sense ki. They thought it was just a change in hair color—what was there to see?

Future Bulma did not see it that way. The stronger, the better. Having endured so much hardship, she naturally had a more farsighted outlook.

Gogeta clenched both fists. Golden light erupted around his body, and he swelled in size before transforming into Super Saiyan 4.

Bulma, who had been listless moments ago, instantly widened her eyes. Tights wore the same shocked expression.

The appearance and aura of Super Saiyan 4, combined with that wickedly charming smile—draw your own conclusions.

Gogeta walked over to Tights.

"Well? Your husband is handsome, right? Hehe."
