Beerus vs. Gogeta

That evening, Beerus and Whis enjoyed another lavish meal before returning to the God of Destruction's World. Whis would come back the next day to take Gogeta and the other two to the Supreme Kai World for training.

Early the next morning, Gogeta and the other two finished packing and followed Whis to the God of Destruction's World.

After arriving at the God of Destruction's World, before Whis could say anything, Gogeta spoke first.

"I want to challenge Lord Beerus. I want to witness the power of a God of Destruction."

"Oh?"

Beerus, who was having his morning tea, glanced up at Gogeta and said disdainfully, "You're too weak. I can't be bothered."

Gogeta had come prepared.

"I've prepared some delicious food for Lord Beerus!"

Hearing that, Beerus reluctantly agreed.

"Then I'll let you witness the power of a God of Destruction."

Beerus rose to his feet and flew into the air. Gogeta stood facing him.

"Show me everything you've got."

Beerus beckoned at Gogeta, signaling for him to attack.

Gogeta gathered his power and transformed directly into Super Saiyan 3. He charged forward, unleashing a barrage of punches and kicks against Beerus.

As Beerus dodged, he said, "You look fierce in that form, but your strength isn't much to speak of."

Gogeta did not respond, only speeding up his attacks.

Beerus vanished in an instant and appeared behind Gogeta. With a chop of his hand, he sent Gogeta flying. Gogeta steadied himself and looked up, but Beerus was nowhere to be seen. Then Gogeta took another punch to the face and slammed heavily into the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust.

"If this is all you can do, then we can end this."

Beerus spoke calmly from midair.

"How could I possibly be limited to this much?"

Gogeta's confident voice came from within the dust.

Then Gogeta let out a loud roar.

"Yaaah!!!"

A dazzling flash shot into the sky as shattered rocks flew in every direction. Whis raised a barrier to shield the two behind him from the impact.

Gogeta transformed into his Super Saiyan 4 form and charged at Beerus with lightning speed. His heavy punch crashed toward Beerus, who blocked with both hands and smiled.

"Now that's more like it!"

The two began fighting at close range.

"Ah da da da da da da!"

Gogeta launched a furious offensive, but Beerus blocked every blow. Seizing an opening, Beerus landed a heavy punch on Gogeta's face, then followed it with another brutal blow to his stomach, knocking the acid right out of Gogeta's stomach.

Gogeta gritted his teeth and punched Beerus hard in the face as well. Beerus turned his head to the side, veins bulging on his forehead.

Whis, watching from the side, said, "My, my. Lord Beerus seems a little angry."

Sure enough, Beerus grabbed the hand Gogeta had used to strike his face and said, "Don't get too full of yourself, brat."

Another punch slammed into Gogeta's stomach. Gogeta spat blood, and Beerus turned and delivered a sweeping kick, sending Gogeta flying into the forest headfirst. A long trail was carved into the ground, with smoke rising all around it.

Gogeta burst with energy, blasting apart the rocks around him before charging at Beerus again. The two began another round of close combat.

They fought all the way to the lakeside. After exchanging a blow, they separated and began firing energy blasts. Purple and golden blasts flew everywhere, ravaging the surroundings beyond recognition.

Beerus punched away an incoming energy blast and rushed toward Gogeta. Gogeta rapidly fired energy blasts from his hands, strings of golden blasts shooting at Beerus. Beerus moved freely through the dense barrage and reached Gogeta in an instant. He threw a heavy punch, which Gogeta blocked with crossed arms before immediately counterattacking. Beerus flashed above Gogeta's head, clasped his hands together, raised them overhead, and prepared to bring them down hard. Gogeta vanished in a flash and kicked at Beerus from the right. Beerus twisted aside to evade, and Gogeta turned and threw a punch. Beerus caught it with one hand, then caught Gogeta's other punch as well.

Beerus held both of Gogeta's hands and drove his knee hard into Gogeta's chest. Gogeta bent over in pain as Beerus gathered energy in one hand. Gogeta looked up, too late to dodge. He received it with both hands and desperately deflected it into the sky. Beerus teleported in front of Gogeta, pressed the energy blast he had been charging against Gogeta's chest, and detonated it violently.

Gogeta fell from the smoke and crashed into the ground, stirring up another cloud of dust.

When the dust cleared, Gogeta was still standing, but his body was covered in wounds and blood trickled from the corner of his mouth.

"You really are incredible, Lord Beerus!"

Gogeta exclaimed. He felt that Beerus had only been playing with him. Gogeta felt that his current power should be comparable to Super Saiyan Blue from Dragon Ball Super, yet Beerus could still handle him with ease.

"Haaah!!!"

Gogeta unleashed all his power, reaching Full Power Super Saiyan 4, the level Goku had attained in GT after absorbing the Saiyan energy of Gohan and the others.

"Big Bang—"

"Kamehameha—"

Gogeta unleashed his ultimate move, firing a Big Bang Kamehameha at Beerus. Beerus extended one hand and threw out a sphere of destruction energy. The destruction energy rapidly expanded as it flew, colliding with the Big Bang Kamehameha.

"Ah!!"

Gogeta desperately poured out his power, trying to break through the destructive energy. Beerus increased his strength as well, pushing Gogeta's attack back.

Gogeta tried to catch the destructive energy with both hands. The moment he touched it, it rapidly wrapped around his entire body. From afar, Gogeta was completely engulfed by the destructive energy.

"Ah!!!"

Gogeta let out a scream of agony. Beerus landed in front of the destructive energy, looked at Gogeta, and said, "Have you reached your limit?"

Gogeta seemed to have heard Beerus's words. He clenched his fists tightly and replied, "Not yet!"

"Yaaah!!!"

Before Beerus's astonished eyes, Gogeta absorbed the destructive energy and turned it into his own. At that moment, Gogeta reached Super Full Power Saiyan 4—the form Goku had taken in GT after One-Star Dragon knocked him back to normal and he overloaded himself by absorbing the Saiyan energy of Gohan and the others. He still looked like Super Saiyan 4, but his power and speed had increased drastically, allowing him to utterly dominate One-Star Dragon.

"He evolved again?"

Beerus was somewhat surprised. He could actually absorb his opponent's energy and evolve from it.

"I have Lord Beerus's energy to thank for that."

"You've got some skill, kid."

Beerus was beginning to get excited. It had been a long time since he had encountered an opponent like this.

"Then let's continue."

"Of course."

A new round of battle slowly unfolded.

"That's incredible."

Older Trunks and Trunks, watching the battle, sighed in amazement.

"What transformation was that? He could actually absorb energy?"

Trunks, who had never seen anything like this before, was thrilled. So Saiyans could become this powerful.

But Older Trunks said, "Although Mr. Gogeta is very strong, he still can't compare to Lord Beerus. Compared to Vegito, he's much weaker too."

Although he knew Gogeta was not Vegito, Older Trunks still could not help comparing the two.
