Broly Goes Berserk

"Once Broly started fighting, he would gradually lose control. If he wasn't stopped in time, the consequences would be unimaginable."

Paragus revealed Broly's problem, hoping it would make them abandon the idea.

But Gogeta said, "Don't worry. Let me tell you, this is the strongest being in our universe—Lord Beerus, the God of Destruction. With him here, there won't be a problem."

"And Trunks is Vegeta's son!"

The moment Paragus heard Gogeta say that, hatred filled his heart. Combined with his own desire to leave this place, he agreed to let Broly fight them. Paragus said to Broly, "Broly, don't hold back. Fight with everything you have. He's Vegeta's son."

Turning around, Gogeta said to Older Trunks, "Trunks, you'll be the one to fight Broly."

Older Trunks had not expected Gogeta to send him out. He had thought Gogeta would fight himself.

"You've trained under Lord Beerus for so long. Having you fight will better show off Broly's strength."

With no other choice, Older Trunks stepped forward.

Broly charged fiercely at Older Trunks, shattering the ground beneath his feet with his terrifying power. Trunks crossed his arms, trying to block Broly's punch, but Broly's strength was far more terrifying than he had expected. The rocks beneath his feet cracked instantly, and Older Trunks was punched into the ground.

Older Trunks instantly transformed into a Super Saiyan, forcing his way out of the ground against Broly's fist. He kicked Broly, but Broly, lacking combat experience, took the kick head-on and slammed a fist at Older Trunks. The two began an intense close-quarters brawl.

Broly gradually learned during the battle and began to gain the upper hand. Every punch and kick left Older Trunks struggling to defend himself.

Seizing an opening, Broly grabbed Older Trunks by the head and smashed him viciously into the ground. Then he pinned him against a nearby rock and dragged him across it before hurling him into a stone pillar in the distance.

Older Trunks was embedded in it, his eyes vacant as Broly beat him until he questioned his entire life.

Broly gave Older Trunks no chance to catch his breath. He rushed forward and threw a heavy punch at him. Older Trunks hurriedly turned his head to dodge, and the stone pillar behind him was blasted into fragments by Broly's fist. Older Trunks kicked Broly in the chest, but Broly did not budge. He grabbed Older Trunks by the leg, leaped high into the air, and smashed him into the ground.

Older Trunks's eyes widened as blood spilled from his mouth. Broly continued slamming him around, leaving him in unbearable pain.

Just as Broly raised Older Trunks once more, Older Trunks suddenly transformed into a Super Saiyan God and kicked Broly hard in the chest. This time, Broly was sent flying backward and crashed into a pile of rocks.

On the other side, Trunks asked Gogeta, "Mr. Gogeta, why did Broly become so violent when he heard that we were Vegeta's sons?"

Gogeta briefly explained what had happened.

"I see."

Trunks had never expected his grandfather to be that kind of person. Afraid of another's power and worried that the Vegeta family's status would be threatened, he had exiled Broly to a place like this. If it had been him, he would not have taken it well either.

"Ha!!!"

At that moment, Broly's power surged once again, and his pupils turned golden. This was Broly's unique Wrathful form, whose power was no weaker than Super Saiyan Blue.

Broly and Older Trunks clashed again, and Broly once more gained the upper hand. Older Trunks in his Super Saiyan God form simply could not withstand Broly's attacks. Every collision sent him flying. If this continued, Broly would drain all of Older Trunks's stamina and defeat him. Older Trunks knew that well.

In another clash, Older Trunks used Broly's power to propel himself away, gathering his energy as he transformed into Super Saiyan Blue. Azure light shone across the battlefield as Super Saiyan Blue Older Trunks appeared.

Broly continued attacking Older Trunks, who answered in kind. Their powerful fists collided, and at the instant of impact, immense energy erupted. Everything around them shattered, and the ground collapsed into a huge circular crater.

After a brief deadlock, Older Trunks retreated. Unable to win in a contest of strength, he began attacking from range.

Older Trunks continuously fired ki blasts from his hands. Broly withstood them with his body as he charged toward Older Trunks, while Older Trunks nimbly dodged and kept firing.

Seeing that he could not catch Older Trunks, Broly roared and gathered a vast amount of energy in his hand. An emerald-green energy sphere formed in Broly's palm, while a layer of energy shield appeared around his body, blocking Older Trunks's ki blasts. Seeing Broly gathering energy to fire, Older Trunks spread his hands and began gathering energy as well.

"Final Flash~"

"Ha!!"

They fired at the same time. Older Trunks's Final Flash collided with Broly's energy sphere, and the two attacks remained locked in a stalemate, neither able to overpower the other.

"Ha!!"

"Ah!!"

The two increased their energy output once more. The two forces instantly exploded, and dazzling light illuminated half the planet.

Trunks panted heavily, having consumed a great deal of energy, while Broly was completely unaffected.

Older Trunks could see that Broly was stronger than him, so he decisively admitted defeat.

"I lost, Broly. You really are strong."

At that moment, Gogeta began stirring up trouble. He secretly split off a clone, though it did not escape Beerus and Whis's notice. The clone then transformed into King Vegeta and came to Paragus's side, shouting loudly, "We really should have killed you father and son back then. When Paragus saw King Vegeta, he was overjoyed and hurriedly shouted at Broly, "Broly, that's our enemy! Kill him now!"

Grass-green energy continuously erupted from Broly's body. A towering pillar of green energy enveloped him, and Broly slowly rose into the air. At a certain moment, the energy pillar abruptly compressed into a green sphere that surrounded Broly.

"Yahhh!!!!"

Countless green energy blasts shot out from the green sphere, indiscriminately bombarding the surroundings. With a tap of Whis's staff, a barrier appeared before him, protecting everyone beside him.

After unleashing a barrage of attacks, Broly turned his gaze toward the culprit—King Vegeta, transformed from Gogeta's clone.

Energy gathered in Broly's hand as he charged at King Vegeta. Before King Vegeta's shocked eyes, Broly blasted the man who had killed his father into nothing but scraps. Then he rushed toward Gogeta, who was closest to him. Gogeta chuckled.

"It's my turn now."

Gogeta rose and flew into the distance, with Broly pursuing him from behind.

"This is far enough."

Gogeta turned around and faced the charging Broly, beginning his battle with him.

"What a monster!"

Older Trunks was utterly shaken. In his normal state, Broly could already rival him, even suppressing him slightly. He had never expected his power after transforming into a Super Saiyan to be so terrifying. Just the energy he unconsciously released was already difficult for him to withstand.

Trunks felt the same way. Even another version of himself, one stronger than him, could barely hold out. How could he possibly fare any better?
