The Trio's Successful Transformation

Vegeta created an Artificial Moon and tossed it into the air, then looked up at it.

"Thump~ Thump~ Thump~"

As Vegeta's heart pounded violently, his body rapidly swelled, transforming into a golden Great Ape.

Through the window, Goku and Gohan could see half of the Great Ape's body.

Vegeta's Great Ape stood there without moving.

Goku quietly asked Gohan, afraid that Vegeta's Great Ape might hear him, "Did it not work?"

"I don't know either. I've never seen the process of transforming into Super Saiyan 4. Uncle Gogeta always transformed directly."

Gohan replied in a low voice as well.

Suddenly, Vegeta's Great Ape reacted. Golden aura flared from the ape's body, terrifying lightning appeared around it, and then its body began to shrink, turning into a smaller ape. The smaller ape roared loudly, "Aah!!!"

Golden light burst from its entire body, and the terrifying power shattered the air itself. The entire temple shook.

Vegeta had successfully transformed.

Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta appeared, dressed in leather pants, a belt, and gloves.

Goku and Gohan were dumbfounded. So this was the transformation process for Super Saiyan 4? It was too stunning!!

Vegeta raised a hand and recalled the Artificial Moon, then said to Goku, "Want to try the power of Super Saiyan 4, Kakarot?"

Vegeta simply wanted to beat Kakarot up.

What kind of person was Goku? He agreed on the spot.

Goku immediately transformed into Super Saiyan 3 and charged forward, landing a heavy punch squarely on Vegeta's face.

Vegeta stood in place. Even though Goku's punch had hit him in the face, it had no effect whatsoever. He stood as steady as a mountain, not moving an inch.

Goku used the Wolf Fang Fist, "A-da-da-da-da-da~"

A barrage of fists rained down on Vegeta's body, followed by a fierce kick to Vegeta's chest.

None of those attacks could shake Vegeta's body.

Goku quickly retreated and assumed the stance for a Kamehameha. A full-power Super Saiyan 3 Kamehameha struck Vegeta head-on.

"Boom~~"

Goku's Kamehameha, unleashed with all his strength, hit Vegeta, and the explosion raised a massive cloud of smoke.

However, when the smoke cleared, Vegeta's figure emerged, still completely unscathed.

"My turn to attack now, isn't it, Kakarot?"

The corners of Vegeta's mouth curled up wildly. He vanished from where he stood and appeared in front of Goku.

Goku's eyes widened.

"What!??"

Vegeta also used the Wolf Fang Fist, except these were no longer raindrop-like punches. They were meteor-like fists smashing into Goku's body. Goku could only take the beating; he could not even see Vegeta's movements.

Vegeta launched Goku into the air with an uppercut, then flashed into the sky. Interlocking his fingers, he raised both hands high over his head and slammed them down viciously at Goku.

"Bang~"

Goku crashed into the ground like a cannonball, leaving behind a massive crater as he reverted to normal.

Vegeta landed steadily and stood at the edge of the crater. At that moment, he was immensely pleased with himself. Kakarot had finally fallen beneath his feet.

Goku got to his feet and said, "That's some absurd power, Vegeta!"

Gohan took out the Senzu Bean he had gotten from Korin and tossed it to Goku.

"Dad, this is the Senzu Bean I got from Korin."

Goku caught the Senzu Bean and swallowed it, instantly recovering completely.

"Next, it's Gohan's and my turn to try transforming, Vegeta."

Vegeta raised a hand, created an Artificial Moon, and threw it into the sky. Goku looked up at the Artificial Moon, while Gohan hid to one side and lowered his head, refusing to look at it.

Goku successfully transformed into a Golden Great Ape, but he had clearly lost his reason.

"As expected, Kakarot, a low-class warrior, has no way of keeping his sanity under control."

Great Ape Goku opened his mouth and fired an energy beam into the distance. A huge explosion sounded in the distance, and then Great Ape Goku turned his gaze toward the only building—the entrance to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Just as he opened his mouth again, Vegeta struck him in the jaw with a Rising Dragon Punch, causing the energy in his mouth to dissipate instantly.

"Kakarot, since you've lost your mind, let me beat you back to your senses!"

Vegeta began attacking, talking trash as he fought without caring whether the Great Ape could understand him.

"What's wrong, Kakarot? Is this all you've got?"

"Kakarot, your speed isn't up to par!"

"Kakarot, is that all the strength you have?"

Vegeta vented the resentment he had built up over the years like a madman. Kakarot had always been one step ahead of him, and he was always just short of defeating Kakarot.

As they fought, Great Ape Goku suddenly reacted and stopped where he stood.

"It's happening!"

Vegeta retreated to the side and watched Goku transform.

The same process played out on Goku, and in the end, Super Saiyan 4 Goku appeared.

"Thanks, Vegeta."

The first thing Super Saiyan 4 Goku said was to thank Vegeta.

But how could a proud man like Vegeta admit that he had been helping Goku? He stubbornly said, "I just wanted to see how powerful Super Saiyan 4 really is."

Goku did not expose him. Instead, he turned and called out to Gohan, "Gohan, you're up."

Gohan began transforming as well, but he did not lose his reason. Perhaps it was because Gohan's realm was exceptionally high. Years of accumulated knowledge, insights gained from books, and Gohan's own potential had forged this peerless Gohan.

Gohan successfully transformed into Super Saiyan 4, and his aura was clearly stronger than both Goku's and Vegeta's.

"That's amazing, Gohan! You didn't lose your mind, and your ki is even stronger than mine and Vegeta's!"

Goku became excited again.

The three of them prepared to continue training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and consolidate their Super Saiyan 4 realm.

Meanwhile, Gogeta stepped into the time-space passage and headed for the GT Timeline.

Somewhere on Earth in the GT Timeline, Gogeta and Tights emerged from the time-space passage. The two looked around at their surroundings. Well, they had no idea where they were!

Looking up, they saw a massive planet near Earth. Gogeta instantly understood that this was still during Baby's era.

Suddenly, an energy wave shot out from Planet Tuffle, its target the Earth beneath Gogeta's feet.

Baby was threatening Super Saiyan 4 Goku with Earth, forcing Goku to take his attack head-on.

Gogeta merely raised a hand slightly and blocked the energy wave.

Goku and Baby on Planet Tuffle were also somewhat surprised. Was there another strong fighter on Earth who could block Baby's attack?

But Goku had no time to worry about that now. The fury in his heart could no longer be suppressed. He flashed in front of Baby, shielding Earth behind him, while a 10x Kamehameha rapidly gathered in his hand before he blasted it fiercely at Baby.

When the smoke cleared, Baby was completely unharmed.

"How is that possible?"

Super Saiyan 4 Goku could not believe that his strongest move had been useless against Baby.

Baby burst into laughter.

"It's useless. I'm invincible."

He then assumed the stance for a Galick Gun and fired at Super Saiyan 4 Goku with all his strength. Super Saiyan 4 Goku had no time to dodge and took the terrifying blow head-on, collapsing to the ground and unable to rise.

Baby wanted to finish him off, but his body suddenly exploded. The earlier 10x Kamehameha had taken effect. Baby also fell beside Super Saiyan 4 Goku, leaving both of them badly wounded.
