Son Goku vs. Frieza

Bang!!

After Frieza completed his transformation, he immediately released the energy gathered around his body.

An incredibly powerful gust of wind erupted, kicking up a massive cloud of dust from the ground around Frieza.

"Well, Vegeta?"

Seeing Vegeta's tense expression, Frieza could not help but laugh inwardly.

Vegeta clenched his fists tightly, cold sweat pouring from his entire body.

It was obvious that he now knew he was no match for Frieza.

The reason he had been so confident before was, first, because he did not know his current exact strength, and second, because he had not expected Frieza's power to increase so drastically after transforming.

"Why aren't you saying anything? Weren't you acting all arrogant just now, saying you were going to defeat me?"

"Frieza, don't get too cocky. I may not be able to beat you, but someone can!"

Vegeta gritted his teeth tightly as he spoke.

"You mean those Saiyans behind you?"

Frieza said with a smile.

"That's right!"

"Is that so? But from what I can see, they do not even dare step forward!"

"Goku, Vegeta can't beat him. If you're going to fight Frieza, fight him now!"

After hearing the two of them, Roger immediately spoke to Son Goku beside him.

"Alright!"

As he spoke, Son Goku quickly flew over to Vegeta's side.

Vegeta: "Kakarot!"

Son Goku smiled.

"Vegeta, Roger said you can't beat him, so he had me come over and fight him!"

"Are you confident you can beat him?"

Vegeta asked.

"I don't know. I'll only know after fighting him!"

"Kakarot? Are you that Saiyan who escaped back then?"

"Escaped?"

Son Goku looked puzzled.

"The Saiyan who escaped back then wasn't Kakarot. It was Roger over there!"

"Roger!"

Frieza looked toward Roger.

He knew Nappa and Raditz. Of the five, the only ones he did not know were Son Goku and Roger.

"Frieza, my name isn't Kakarot. My name is Son Goku!"

"Son Goku?"

"That's right. If you don't have any other questions, Frieza, then shall we begin?"

Frieza immediately laughed upon hearing that.

"Son Goku, it seems you're quite confident in your own strength as well. But the more confident someone is, the easier they are to defeat—just like Vegeta!"

After suffering Frieza's insult, Vegeta immediately gritted his teeth.

Although what Frieza said was true, as the prince of the Saiyans, he still had his own dignity and pride.

After thinking for a moment, Vegeta immediately retreated.

Though he was furious, he knew that staying here would only get in Son Goku's way.

Frieza sneered, raised his right index finger, and fired a purple Death Beam from his fingertip at Son Goku.

Son Goku raised his right hand and slapped the Death Beam away behind him.

Boom!!

With a tremendous explosion, the Death Beam exploded behind Son Goku.

"What!"

Frieza was startled. His right index finger rapidly fired several Death Beams at Son Goku.

Son Goku raised his right hand and knocked the Death Beams Frieza fired at him away to both sides behind him.

Boom! Boom! Boom!!

Amid a series of massive explosions, the Death Beams Son Goku had knocked away exploded behind him, and the smoke from the blasts quickly obscured his figure.

"Kakarot!"

Seeing this, Raditz immediately began to worry about Son Goku.

After a while, when the dust and smoke cleared, Son Goku stood unharmed where he was, his right hand still raised in front of him.

Frieza was startled once again.

"Frieza, is this your only move?"

"Damn it!"

Frieza roared furiously and charged at Son Goku like lightning.

In no time, Frieza rushed in front of Son Goku, his right fist striking toward him as fast as lightning.

Son Goku sidestepped, easily dodging Frieza's attack.

Frieza swiftly swung his left fist downward, striking at Son Goku again.

Son Goku dodged while retreating backward.

Every one of Frieza's attacks was evaded by Son Goku.

"Damn it!"

Frieza roared angrily and kicked forward with his right foot.

Son Goku blocked with both hands and was forced back several steps.

"Yah!"

Frieza shouted, dashing several steps forward before crouching to the ground and sweeping his right leg at Son Goku.

Son Goku leaped upward, dodging the attack.

Seeing this, Frieza immediately rose to his feet and threw his right fist forward with all his strength.

At that moment, Son Goku's figure suddenly vanished, and Frieza's right fist slammed heavily into his afterimage.

"Afterimage!"

As soon as he spoke, Son Goku suddenly appeared behind Frieza and delivered a flying kick toward his head.

Bang!!

Son Goku's right foot struck the back of Frieza's head heavily.

Frieza let out a miserable scream as his body shot forward like a line, crashing violently into the mountain in front of him.

A huge cloud of dust immediately billowed up from the mountain.

Watching from afar, Vegeta clenched his teeth tightly.

He had thought that the gap between his strength and Son Goku's had narrowed, but he had not expected the difference between them to still be so vast.

After a while, when the dust settled, Frieza crawled out of the mountain looking utterly disheveled.

"What's wrong, Frieza? Is this all the strength you have?"

"Damn it!"

Frieza roared angrily, gathering a large number of energy blasts in both hands and firing them at Son Goku.

Seeing this, Son Goku immediately dodged in every direction.

Boom! Boom! Boom!!

Amid a series of massive explosions, the boulders and mountains around Son Goku were blasted to pieces by Frieza's energy blasts.

For a moment, thick smoke rose all around Son Goku, flames shot into the sky, and shattered rocks and dust from the explosions filled the area.

Seeing this, Frieza sneered and stopped firing energy blasts.

At that moment, a figure suddenly appeared behind Frieza.

It was Son Goku.

Before Frieza could react, Son Goku swung his right leg and kicked him heavily in the right side of the face.

Frieza let out a miserable scream as his body shot away like a line, crashing violently into a mountain to his left.

A huge cloud of dust immediately billowed up from the mountain.

After a while, when the dust settled, Frieza crawled out of the mountain looking utterly disheveled.

"Frieza, you're no match for me. I think you should leave Earth!"

Hearing this, Vegeta immediately became incomparably furious.

"Kakarot, do you know what you're saying? Planet Vegeta wasn't destroyed by a meteorite back then—it was destroyed by Frieza!"

"Planet Vegeta?"

"Yeah!"

Vegeta nodded.

Upon hearing their conversation, Frieza immediately laughed.

"That's right. Planet Vegeta was indeed destroyed by me!"
