Background / History

Roger was originally an Earthling who transmigrated while playing Honor of Kings, awakening in the body of a three- or four-year-old low-class Saiyan on Planet Vegeta. He inherited the original Roger's memories and learned that Frieza would soon destroy the planet. An unknown voice granted him “heaven-defying comprehension,” allowing him to understand techniques and phenomena through observation. 1

With a starting battle power of 305, Roger trained under Planet Vegeta's tenfold Earth gravity and devised two Saiyan-focused cultivation methods. After reaching a battle power of 2,000, he stole a Saiyan spacecraft and escaped before Frieza destroyed Planet Vegeta. 1 2

His ship crashed on Planet Yardrat, where he initially communicated through sign language. The Yardratians, especially the sage Husu, sheltered him and taught him their techniques. During a year there, Roger created God-level Instant Transmission and raised his battle power to 3,000,000 before departing for Earth. 3 4

On Earth, Roger sold his spacecraft to Dr. Brief for one billion and formed close ties with the Brief family.
