This terrifying scene shocked the surrounding officers, as well as Captain Stacy hanging from the ceiling.

Was this really the kind of cruel thing Spider-Man, the superhero who had never killed a criminal, would do???

One rookie officer was so frightened that his hand trembled, and he accidentally fired a shot at Toby.

But Toby did not even turn around at the bullet coming from behind him. A patch of silver-gray armor appeared in advance at the point of impact. Sparks flew as the bullet struck the armor, ricocheting back and hitting the thigh of the rookie officer who had accidentally fired.

Captain Stacy, hanging from the ceiling like a teru teru bozu doll, was beside himself with anxiety and roared:

"Goddamn it! Who fired that shot?! Put your guns away, all of you!"

The other officers hurriedly holstered their guns and administered emergency treatment to the rookie officer.

After all, they had just watched the Lizard Man, whom they had focused fire on for several rounds without being able to kill, get turned into a pincushion in an instant by that guy who was possibly Spider-Man!

They could not even beat the Lizard Man. If they provoked this even more terrifying, violent Spider-Man, would that not be like throwing a flashbang into a toilet and looking for shit—death—there, just like their commissioner?

Toby casually withdrew his hand from the Lizard Man's body.

Then, with a flick of his left hand, it transformed into a chain blade that severed the webbing suspending Captain Stacy from the ceiling. As Captain Stacy fell, Toby grabbed him by the collar to keep him from face-planting into the floor.

After setting Captain Stacy down, Toby casually wiped the Lizard Man's blood from his hands onto the captain's uniform and said flatly:
