The Ninth Prison Level.
As the last of Doom Castle's nine prison levels, this floor was even smaller than the eighth, where Captain America had been imprisoned.
It consisted of a single silver-white room measuring less than ten square meters.
A slender, silver-gray metallic figure knelt in the center of the little room.
It was Ultron, the one Toby had been looking for!
Although Ultron was confined deeper down, on the Ninth Prison Level, he seemed to have received far better treatment than Captain America on the eighth.
There were no chains on him. Doctor Doom had not even placed any restraints on him!
It was as though Ultron had knelt there willingly.
And that was clearly the strangest thing about it.
After all, why would Ultron willingly kneel here?
Toby raised his eyes slightly and scanned the sealed metal room. Looking through its walls, he discovered that they were actually ten meters thick!
Judging by their structure, the barriers were made of adamantium, too!
Clearly, the room itself was a trap!
Yet Toby merely paused for a moment before walking straight in.
The instant he stepped inside, the massive adamantium door behind him slammed shut, just as expected.
With adamantium this thick, even Hulk would never escape if he were trapped here!
Toby did not even glance at the adamantium door closing behind him. Instead, he walked up to Ultron, looked down at him kneeling on the floor, and said calmly, "Why go to such lengths? You know I never needed you to become particularly strong. I have plenty of powerful subordinates. I value you because your very existence is the greatest help you can give me."
Ultron laboriously lifted his face, which resembled Gwen's by seven parts and Wanda's by three, and forced out each word. "I'm sorry,
