Three Spirit Sword, Shisui Under Surveillance

Futsunomitama, also known as the Futsuru Sword. It was a god-slaying sword from myth and legend, a sword formed from the true body of Takemikazuchi! Legend had it that during the war in which Izumo Province was forced to yield its land, the thunder god had wielded this sword to intimidate Okuninushi.

Furthermore, Futsunomitama, the Ame-no-Murakumo Sword, and the Totsuka Blade (Ama-no-Habakiri) were collectively known as the Three Spirit Swords.

Of them, the Ame-no-Murakumo Sword was in Orochimaru's hands, while the Totsuka Blade later fell into Itachi's possession...

When Orochimaru transformed into Yamata no Orochi and fought Itachi, both Black Zetsu and Orochimaru had revealed one piece of information: Orochimaru had always been searching for the Totsuka Blade. Combined with the Ame-no-Murakumo Sword already in his possession, this showed that Orochimaru was exceptionally certain that the Three Spirit Swords existed.

And since two of the Three Spirit Swords were divine artifacts that could be found in the Naruto world, there was no reason Futsunomitama should not exist as well.

Uchiha Mo looked at his scarlet eyes reflected in the gleaming blade, the corners of his lips lifting into a faint smile.

"Whoosh—click!"

The straight sword slid into its sheath. Mo's eyes returned to their clean black color, and he raised a hand to hang Futsunomitama from the sash at his waist.

"No need. I trust Grandma's judgment."

With that, he turned to leave.

"Once Grandma has organized Kakuzu's intelligence, have Mai deliver it to me."

Mai was the name of the white ninja cat Mo had summoned. Kakuzu alone had contributed a vast amount of proficiency to Mo through the Earth Grudge Fear secret technique, so naturally, he had no intention of letting go of such a sustainably useful cash cow. Once the time was right and his strength sufficient, Mo would definitely seek Kakuzu out again.

When Shisui had returned home and seen the ninja tool pouch and arm guards on the cabinet, he had realized that Mo was back, which was why he had immediately begun preparing dinner.

Mo took off his robe and hung it on the coat rack by the entrance before sitting down at the dining table.

Purple Child Fusion Rate: 0.01% (Reach 50% to unlock the ability: Universe in the Sleeve)

Red Child and Yellow Child's first-stage abilities were only around one percent of Yang Release proficiency away from being unlocked. However, Yang Release differed from the other attributes. If it were one of the five conventional attributes, Mo could quickly build up that small amount of proficiency through training alone.

If it were Yin Release, Mo could also increase it rapidly with the Sharingan. But Yang Release was the one thing he currently had almost no way to deal with. At most, he could slowly grind it up through physical development and exercise.

With this ability, Uchiha Mo could manipulate the shape transformation of Lightning Release chakra as easily as moving his own fingers.

Danzo!

Though it was only a guess, Uchiha Mo was utterly certain of the answer.

A flash of crimson passed through Mo's eyes. He would not interfere with Shisui's own thoughts, but that did not mean he would stand by and watch Shisui become someone else's tool.

What he wanted was for Shisui to shape his own beliefs through his own eyes and experiences, not have someone else force their convictions into him.

Therefore, he would never allow Shisui to fall into the hands of that clown Danzo.
