Boom!
The ship plunged into the clouds, and amid a suffocating sensation like drowning, the massive vessel burst through the cloud layer and landed on the White Sea of Sky Island.
"Phew... phew..."
Nami, who had been brimming with excitement moments ago, was now clinging tightly to Rody and gasping for breath.
"So this is the White Sea!"
"A sea made of clouds... This world really is crazy!" Rody remarked as he looked at the vast white sea of clouds stretching across the sky.
"But, Rody, if our ship can break through the clouds, then this sea of clouds shouldn't be able to support an island, right?" Nami recovered from the discomfort of plunging into the cloud sea and let go of Rody.
Rody smiled and pointed in one direction. "Of course it can't. There's a cloud road over there. Once we pass through it and reach Heaven's Gate, we can enter Sky Island."
Nami looked in the direction Rody pointed with an expectant expression. "I really can't wait."
Not long after, after traveling along the long cloud road, the ship arrived before a gate resembling a harbor dock.
The ship slowly entered the gateway, and a frail, shriveled old woman stepped out of the guardhouse. She had two little buns tied atop her head and a pair of white wings growing from her back, making her look quite strange.
The old woman picked up a camera and snapped a series of photos of Rody and the others.
Nami asked in confusion, "What is that old lady doing?"
Robin smiled and asked the old woman, "Excuse me, you are...?"
"I am Amazon, the gatekeeper of Heaven's Gate. Have you come to Sky Island for sightseeing or for war?" the old woman asked Rody in a hoarse voice.
