It was already very late, probably around eleven or twelve at night.

Nami secretly yawned, then forced herself to stay alert. From the corner of her eye, she glanced at the stacks of Beli on the desk, each worth a hundred thousand. By her rough estimate, there were still over thirty stacks left.

"I'm done playing." Duen began gathering up the cards.

"Wait, you're stopping already?" Nami hurriedly pressed down the scattered pile of cards.

"I'm sleepy."

Duen glanced at the thirty or forty stacks of Beli Nami had hidden behind her. "Besides, you've already won quite a bit."

"Didn't you say you didn't care much about money... and had never even handled any?" Nami probed cautiously. "You can give all this Beli to me too..."

"Do you think I'm stingy?"

Nami reached one hand behind her and felt the stacks of Beli. After hesitating, she replied, "No."

Duen rested an elbow on the table and lightly tapped his slightly lowered head with two fingers. "Come back tomorrow."

Though his words sounded casual, they carried an unquestionable authority. Nami hurriedly gathered up the Beli she had won and stuffed it into the bag she had prepared. As she was about to leave the room, she looked back at the Beli on the desk and said reluctantly, "Then I'm leaving..."

"You can stay and warm my bed if you want."

Bang.

The door slammed shut at once.

"Do I look like a bad guy?" Duen snorted indifferently.

Then he opened the system and checked the [Income Records]. He had gained more than 4,200 points of negative emotion.

He clicked into [Abilities and Enhancements], but there were no upward arrows. It seemed that over four thousand emotion points still weren't enough to upgrade any ability.

In the end, he could only open the [Lottery Center] and start drawing.

Thinking that even something like this would surely have a use someday, Duen silently put the photo away.

"Eleven draws left..."

Duen felt that his luck couldn't possibly be this bad.

At his command, the wheel spun again before finally coming to a stop.

Damn it! Why was it another thing related to Buggy? Just how fated was he with Buggy?!

Complaints aside, Duen put it away as well. A red nose icon appeared in the [Illustrated Guide], but nothing else changed.

Little by little, it would eventually be useful.

Thinking so, Duen pressed the button again and spun the wheel.

After spinning more than a dozen times, the wheel stopped.
