Dadan refused Garp without the slightest hesitation. "No! Every time you say they'll behave, they always turn out to be nothing but troublemakers. Who knows what kind of little devils these two will be?"

Garp merely said blandly, "Is that so? Are you sure?"

Seemingly absentminded, he added, "Ah, it seems the sixth level of the great prison at sea has been a little short on people lately." Then he casually swept his eyes over Dadan.

The moment Dadan heard Garp say, "It seems the great prison at sea has been a little short on people lately," she was already close to caving in. Then she saw Garp's eyes casually travel over her.

She immediately agreed without hesitation. "Yes! Hahaha, I've thought it over. They can live here from now on. Hahaha...!"

Before Ye Feng and Avril could say anything else, Garp patted Avril's little head. "All right, Ye Feng and Avril, you'll live here from now on. When you grow up, Grandpa will come back and take you to join the Marines." With that, he turned and walked down the mountain.

After little Luffy saw his grandpa Garp leave, he ran over and looked at Ye Feng and Avril curiously. "Hey! Ye Feng, Avril, are you two also that bastard grandpa's grandkids? How come I didn't know?"

Ye Feng nodded. "That's right. The two of us are also that old man Garp's grandkids."

Little Luffy picked his nose and looked at Ye Feng and Avril with a sympathetic expression. "Really? So we're all the same. Sigh, we're all so pitiful."

That night, Ye Feng and his younger sister Avril lay in the treehouse Dadan had arranged for them.

Early the next morning, Avril got up and went to play at Makino's bar.

As usual, Ye Feng got up in the morning and went to the beach to train. He practiced until the afternoon, then said, "It's getting late. I should go check on little Luffy." As he spoke, he lifted the Sea King's corpse over his head and slowly headed toward the little treehouse that served as Luffy, Ace, and Sabo's secret base.

When Ye Feng arrived, he found that the ruined little treehouse before him looked as though it had gone through a fierce battle. He said in disbelief, "Th-this... what happened? Luffy, Ace, Sabo, where are you? How did it end up like this after I was gone for only one afternoon?"

Then, as anger rose within Ye Feng, he suddenly remembered.

In the original story, Luffy and the other two had stolen the treasure of a group called the Bluerjam Pirates and been captured at Gray Terminal beside the garbage mountain.

Just as Ye Feng was about to reach the place, he heard two people talking.

One of them said, "I heard that kid named Luffy was beaten black and blue by Bluerjam's crew, but he still didn't reveal where those two brats, Ace and Sabo, were hiding."

The other said, "That's so pitiful. He was beaten beyond recognition, yet he still didn't say anything."

Ye Feng suddenly appeared behind the two men, staring at them coldly. "That Luffy you just mentioned... can you tell me where he is now?"

Hearing the voice behind them, the two turned around and saw Ye Feng's emotionless, icy face. They collapsed onto the ground in fright and trembled as they asked, "Y-you... who are you?"

Ye Feng forcefully suppressed the fury in his heart and said coldly, "Me? I'm the older brother of the Luffy you were talking about! Sigh, you only need to tell me where my useless little brother is right now."

The two men, terrified by Ye Feng, told him Luffy's location without holding anything back. "He's in that small wooden shack not far ahead. Just walk forward for a while and you'll see it."

After hearing that, Ye Feng did not stop. He immediately ran toward the wooden shack they had mentioned.

After Ye Feng left, the two frightened men climbed up from the ground and slowly said, "What was that? It felt like... we were being stared at by a tiger. Let's get out of here. I don't want to stay here for another second."

The other said, "Y-yeah, let's go right now. Those eyes were terrifying! I was almost scared to death."

Just as Ye Feng reached the entrance of the wooden shack, he heard the sound of blows coming from inside.

Bang! "Kid, my patience is limited. If you still won't tell me where those brats Ace and Sabo are, I'll kill you."

Bang! Another blow landed.

"In your dreams! I'll never betray Ace and Sabo. If you've got the guts, beat me to death and see how my brother takes revenge for me."

"Oh? You've got guts, kid! You still dare threaten me? Then go die!"

Upon hearing this, Ye Feng walked into the wooden shack.

Just as he was about to enter, two men coming out stopped him. "Stop! Who are you, kid? Don't you know this is the territory of our great Bluerjam Pirates?"

Ye Feng replied, "I know."

One of them said, "You know, and you still dare come here? Since you're young, get lost while you can."
