After that incident, Makino's attitude toward Ye Feng underwent a tremendous change.

Ye Feng had also forgotten to erase Makino's memories, so her previous affection for him had turned into love.

Then Sabo, Luffy, and Ace stood up together, wiped the tears from their faces, and wrapped their arms around one another's shoulders. Hopping along, they headed forward while laughing loudly. "Hahahaha... We're free again! Hahahaha..."

After they left, Makino finally let down the last of her defenses. She collapsed onto the ground and began to cry loudly, her voice filled with helplessness.

At that moment, Ye Feng was floating in the sea not far from Windmill Village. With his sharp Observation Haki, he heard the beautiful woman behind him crying, and it nearly broke his heart.

After three or four minutes, Ye Feng raised his head and looked toward Windmill Village. After hesitating for a moment, he shook his head, leaped onto the sea, and rushed back.

Makino, crying at the dock until her eyes had turned red, was preparing to leave in disappointment when she suddenly saw a familiar figure appear before her.

Before Makino could react, Ye Feng had already pulled her into his arms.
