Arriving at Marineford

After Ye Feng had imparted all the cultivation formulas for the Mystic Maiden Art to Tina, he withdrew from her mind.

Marineford was located on a sizable island in the West Marine Sea. As the site of Marine Headquarters, the island's defenses were exceptionally tight. The massive circular harbor was packed with artillery platforms and defensive installations, with Marine soldiers patrolling at all times. Most of Marine Headquarters' officers and commanders were also stationed here, making its defenses impregnable. Any pirate force foolish enough to attack Marine Headquarters would simply be courting death.

However, Marineford was not merely a military fortress. Besides the massive castle-like Marine Headquarters, a huge town surrounded Marineford, and most of its residents were family members of Marines.

The Marines were an organization directly under the World Government, maintaining order across the world's seas in the name of absolute justice.

Marine Headquarters, Marineford, was especially one of the three major powers of the Grand Line. Its ostensible purpose was to maintain security across the seas of the world.

Ye Feng turned and looked toward four rectangular structures resembling towering mountains not far from Marineford, which surrounded Marine Headquarters.

Each watchtower flew a Marine flag, ensuring that the movements of any enemy attacking Marineford could be detected before they launched their assault.

As the warship drew closer and closer to Marineford's harbor, a ladder was lowered from the Marine vessel. Smoker and Tina walked down side by side, followed by the officers and Marines aboard the ship. Ye Feng followed them down as well.

The moment Ye Feng stepped ashore, he sensed danger. A sword was pressed against his head, but a tremendous force knocked the sword in his hand aside. A huge fist struck his head, raising a bump.

Ye Feng tossed his sword aside, crouched down, and clutched his head. Glaring furiously at Garp, who wore a white coat with the word "Justice" emblazoned across its back, he said, "You damn old man, why did you hit me the moment you saw me? I didn't provoke you!"

Seeing Garp's arrival, Smoker and Tina, who stood nearby, saluted him and said, "Vice Admiral Garp, sir!"

Garp waved at Smoker and Tina, who were saluting him, and said, "All right, you two go report to Fleet Admiral Sengoku first."

Then he said to Ye Feng, who was still crouching on the ground, "You brat, your strength has increased quite a bit in the past few years."

After hearing Garp's words, Ye Feng stood up and looked at him. "Hmph, damn old man, I haven't been idling around these past few years either. By the way, where's Nana?"

Hearing Ye Feng's question, Garp replied with a smile, "Oh, you mean Avril! She's joined the Marines now and has become quite the famous figure at Marine Headquarters. Then he stared at Ye Feng and asked, "What realm are you at now?"

Upon hearing that his younger sister Avril was still an intermediate Swordmaster and had not improved at all in three years, Ye Feng knew she must have been slacking off. Of course, he did not tell Garp that.

Seeing the expectant look on Garp's face, Ye Feng calmly said, "I'm currently at the peak of Swordmaster."

When Garp heard Ye Feng say "peak of Swordmaster," he merely nodded and said indifferently, "Oh, so you're at the peak of Swordmaster. Then you—" Before he could finish, Garp's eyes widened as he stared at Ye Feng. He shouted in astonishment, "You... you... what did you just say?"
