But she did not know the specifics.

He walked toward them, step by step.

Before long, the screams ceased.

Scattered corpses lay on the ground, their eyes filled with terror, as though they had encountered something unimaginably frightening before they died.

Uchiha Mirai clapped his hands and walked toward the sack.

Hinata's heart pounded wildly inside the sack.

She watched Uchiha Mirai approach her. Though an intense battle had just taken place, his clothes were completely undamaged, without even a speck of dust on them.

"Don't be afraid. It's over now."

Uchiha Mirai crouched down and gathered the tiny, soft Hinata into his arms.
