Background / History

Tang Yuehua is Tang Hao's younger sister and the master of Moonlight Pavilion in Heaven Dou City. Despite being affiliated with the Clear Sky Sect, she possesses only Level Nine strength and cannot readily call on assistance when Tang Hao arrives injured at her pavilion. 37

After Tang Hao is defeated by Tang Chuan outside Heaven Dou City, he seeks refuge at Moonlight Pavilion. Yuehua personally supports, cleans, and bandages him, then closes the pavilion under the pretext that she is ill. 37

Tang Hao tells Yuehua that Tang Chuan has manipulated Tang San and asks her to lure Tang Chuan to Moonlight Pavilion using herself as bait. Yuehua initially accepts, concerned for Tang San, but is deeply hurt by her brother's willingness to use her this way. 37

Tang Yuehua invites Tang Chuan, Tang San, Xiao Wu, and Xue Qinghe to Moonlight Pavilion. Seeing Tang Chuan and Tang San firsthand, she doubts Tang Hao's portrayal of Tang Chuan: Tang Chuan does not appear ruthless, while Tang San's admiration for him appears genuine. 39

She ultimately cannot bring herself to signal Tang Hao or keep the group at the pavilion. When Tang Hao later confronts her over this failure, he strikes her; Tang Chuan and Xue Qinghe intervene after returning to the pavilion. 41

Following Tang Hao's defeat and flight, Yuehua asks Tang San to relay a message to Tang Chuan: if he needs anything from her, he may ask for it—emphasizing that she means any request. 42

Tang Yuehua initially demonstrates strong loyalty and concern toward Tang Hao, immediately accepting his account of Tang Chuan and worrying for Tang San's safety. 37 However, Tang Hao's request that she serve as bait exposes how little he values her feelings, leaving her disillusioned with both him and the importance she once attached to the Clear Sky Sect. 37

She retains a noble and composed outward demeanor even while distressed. Her eventual refusal to carry out Tang Hao's plan shows that she will not sacrifice her dignity merely to serve his demands. 37 41

Tang Hao's Refuge at Moonlight Pavilion

Tang Yuehua becomes involved after Tang Hao flees to Moonlight Pavilion following his loss to Tang Chuan. Her care for him leads Tang Hao to exploit her concern for Tang San, asking her to set a trap for Tang Chuan. 37

Moonlight Pavilion Meeting

She summons Tang Chuan and Tang San to Moonlight Pavilion, where she meets Xue Qinghe as well. Tang Yuehua notices Tang Chuan's strength and appearance do not match Tang Hao's claims, while Tang San feels a blood-based familiarity with her. 39

Break with Tang Hao

Yuehua does not carry out Tang Hao's plan. When he confronts and strikes her, Tang Chuan and Xue Qinghe witness the abuse, further exposing Tang Hao's conduct. 41
