Aside from food, these people had now begun to slowly infiltrate other sectors such as schools, commerce, and the economy.
Educational institutions, propaganda agencies, law enforcement agencies, economic institutions—apart from law enforcement, they had planted people in nearly all of them.
But Dole had already begun preparing. Once they made their next move, it would be time to draw in the net. For now, he was simply waiting for his daughter to come complain to him, so he could deal with the schools first.
He wanted to establish a persona for himself: if no one came to him, he would not solve the problem. He would play the part of a seemingly indolent administrator, making it easier for those people to act.
Meanwhile, the Sacred Scarab clone had slowly left the north and headed south.
After hearing what several classmates had said, Monica was somewhat angered.
But she held herself back from saying anything. Her father had only told her to study and not meddle in too many affairs. Besides, hearing was false while seeing was truth, so she planned to wait a few days until her father allowed her to return to school, then see for herself whether it was true.
If it was true, she would complain to her father.
Thus, although Monica was angry and felt sorry for the two classmates, she did not go to Dole.
Five days soon passed.
Monica went to school. Sure enough, the school had changed. Some familiar faces were gone, while arrogant and overbearing unfamiliar students had appeared. The students from before had possessed fairly good character, but now all sorts of riffraff had come in.
Upon returning home, Monica immediately lodged her complaint.

Early in the morning, Dole appeared at the entrance to the municipal building. Before
