Vasili looked at Shallow Moon Patriarch, nodded, and said, "I roughly know who it is. Only he could come into contact with the wizards controlled by Nightmare Patriarch. I won't disturb him."
Shallow Moon Patriarch nodded. "In this generation, there are two in the imperial capital who may advance to Level Eight. The numbers in the other provinces are unknown, but there can be no more than three or four. That young couple both have the potential. I think very highly of them."
"Those below Level Seven have little impact on the upper echelon's combat strength." Vasili nodded. "Only those who advance beyond Level Seven count as the backbone of our human race—our true fighting strength. I'll find a way to nurture him from the side."
Fire King Patriarch's heart sank. It would be even harder to take him as a disciple now.
The others were completely baffled. What riddle were they speaking in? Who was that person, and why did he enjoy such favor from the two of them?
Vasili then said, "Let's talk about Nightmare Patriarch instead. Also, has Yellow Oriole's intelligence reached you?"
Shallow Moon Patriarch's heart skipped a beat. "A miscalculation, a miscalculation. I'll summon Yale."
Only wizards could deal with Nightmare Patriarch; the warrior side was utterly useless. He had subconsciously excluded Emperor Yale, but the intelligence was still on Yale's side, so he had to be called over to carefully verify it.
After waiting a while, Yale did not come. George came instead.
George himself had not slept well. Dole had gone to the imperial palace to meet Fire King Patriarch—how could George possibly sleep soundly? Only after news of Dole's departure reached his ears had he been able to rest a little. Yet before he could even fall asleep, he was summoned again.
