Everyone immediately understood. The few wizards deeply versed in magic patterns stared at Dole in shock.
Babel Tower had been designed solely for the void? Then once it advanced to Level Nine, wouldn't one be able to roam freely beyond the realm?
At once, several of them began entertaining little thoughts of their own, their expressions shifting.
Seeing the looks on the people around him, Dole was slightly startled inwardly.
After some thought, he continued, "Although Babel Tower was originally designed to travel through the void, and its various magic arrays are all tailored for the void, it is only particularly good at traveling, fleeing, and defense. It is lacking in other aspects. For example, if I wanted to dig earth from inside it, that would not work very well."
Daphne's face remained expressionless, but inwardly she muttered, Why didn't you mention all those bones you collected?
Dole had once said that he wanted to use those bones to forge a wizard tower. She had been utterly shocked at the time. Babel Tower was already formidable enough; a wizard tower forged from the bones of those inherently terrifying void creatures would be absolutely invincible.
That was right. There were only two words in her mind: invincible.
Fire King Patriarch's expression darkened as he said, "We saw it as well. You tried digging earth, and it did not seem to go very successfully. However, you collected quite a bit of the softened soil afterward. Can you contribute some of it?"
Dole looked at Fire King Patriarch, then at the Glory Wizard Alliance.
The corners of his mouth curled up. "I am a member of the Glory Wizard Alliance, so naturally I should serve it. I can contribute two tons of soil to the Glory Wizard Alliance."
Fire King Patriarch's mouth twitched.
