Albis Mountain was tranquil—far more tranquil than the outside world. The turmoil of war in the northwest had not affected the people of Albis Mountain in the slightest.
So long as the high-level Magic Beasts of the North Plains Mountain Range did not descend from the mountains, the people of Albis Mountain could handle ordinary Magic Beasts with ease.
Still, the war in the northwest had brought some incidental effects. After all, the City Lord's Hall was responsible for conscription, propaganda, logistical supplies, merchant caravan organization, and other such matters.
The City Lord's Manor was not in charge of these affairs. On one hand, the various families ran them independently; on the other, Dole had no desire to manage such matters. He practiced free trade—so long as no one monopolized the market or forced people to buy and sell, anything went.
Yet recently, aside from Aixi and the two children, Elreya and Dole were almost never seen at the City Lord's Manor.
Within the Eye of Storm, Elreya let out a long breath and woke from her cultivation.
Lightning and storm clouds flashed through her eyes.
She stretched out both hands and clenched her fists tightly, then deflated somewhat.
"Compared to the power wielded through wizardry, a warrior's abilities really are a little weaker. No wonder they all think Wizards are powerful, but don't consider warriors of the same level particularly strong. This destructive power is shockingly immense."
Her mental strength, ten times greater than before, and her mental control, likewise ten times stronger, had granted Elreya an extraordinary grasp of wizardry. She was now a standard Level Six Wizard, and any spell she casually cast could rival ten times the destructive force of her former Level Six warrior self.
It was simply astounding.
So this was a Wizard?
