Background / History

Spirit Hall is one of Soul Land's dominant powers and is treated by Tang Hao as a major threat because of his past as Clear Sky Douluo. Tang Ling, while not a member, notes that Spirit Hall has done practical work for commoners: it awakens martial souls for remote village children free of charge and gives low-ranking Soul Masters stipends, unlike the empires and noble clans that primarily protect their own privileges 7.

Spirit Hall first directly confronts the Holy Soul Village side when two Titled Douluo and four Soul Sages surround Tang Hao's blacksmith shop to capture or kill him. Tang Ling stops their attacks with a single tap and defeats all six with one finger flick, after which the survivors report back to Pope Bibi Dong 7 8.

After receiving the report, Bibi Dong declares a hundred-li radius around Holy Soul Village a forbidden zone and forbids Spirit Hall personnel from entering without authorization.
