Tsubaki, Mizuki

In a small forest.

Uzumaki Menma, Naruto, and Neji were beaten by Anko Mitarashi.

Neji felt his butt was numb, completely detached from him.

He assumed Uzumaki Menma and Naruto would feel the same.

Then, to Neji's disbelief, Uzumaki Menma and Naruto stood up again as if nothing had happened.

Neji asked, bewildered, "How are you two okay?"

Uzumaki Menma proudly puffed out his small chest: "Naruto and I can take a beating. A few smacks like that are nothing to us."

Uzumaki Menma and Naruto had both completed their Uzumaki Clan bloodline, and with Kurama's restorative power, those few spanks were nothing to them.

Neji asked, his voice trembling slightly, "Then why were you screaming so miserably just now?"

Naruto put his hands on his hips and said proudly, "If we didn't scream miserably, how would that she-devil stop? Menma, was my screaming good just now?"

"Room for improvement, keep it up!"

They looked at each other and laughed, feeling a sense of satisfaction for having tricked Anko Mitarashi.

Neji pursed his lips, realizing that in the end, he was the only one who got beaten?

Uzumaki Menma asked Neji, "Neji, can you still stand up and walk?"

Neji looked as if he had activated his Byakugan without actually doing so: "What do you think?"

"You guys have always carried me before, so I'll carry you today."

Uzumaki Menma volunteered and squatted down.

Neji lay on Uzumaki Menma's shoulder: "It's good you still have a conscience."

Uzumaki Menma suggested, "Let's go to the mountains of Konoha next. The flowers on the mountain have bloomed, it's so beautiful!"

Naruto immediately responded, "Okay! Let's go!"

"Wait! I didn't say I wanted to go! If you want to go, go by yourselves, take me back to the Ninja Academy first!" Neji hurriedly refused.

Uzumaki Menma put Neji down in the flower field, then sat down with Naruto.

"How is it, Neji? Is it beautiful here?"

Neji nodded his little head and said, "Yeah, it's very beautiful. I never knew Konoha had a place like this."

Uzumaki Menma put his hands behind his head and lay down in the flower field: "There are many places you don't know about. Naruto and I explored these places bit by bit over the past two years. You're getting a bargain."

Naruto suddenly pointed to the top of the mountain: "Menma, Neji, look quickly, there seems to be a house over there."

Uzumaki Menma and Neji looked in the direction Naruto was pointing and indeed saw a wooden house.

Uzumaki Menma wondered, "That's strange, this wooden house wasn't here when we came last year. Was it just built this year? Let's go take a look."

Uzumaki Menma picked up Neji again and walked to the wooden house with Naruto.

Naruto tentatively knocked on the door of the wooden house, and someone actually came to open it.

"Miss Tsubaki is my teacher at the Ninja Academy."

Tsubaki asked in confusion, "Neji, isn't today a school day? What are you doing here?"

Neji's little face stiffened, and he stammered, not knowing how to answer.

Uzumaki Menma answered for Neji, "Neji got injured, so he took a day off today. We wanted to take Neji to play in the flower field on the mountain."

"I see, you must be Menma and Naruto, right?"

Uzumaki Menma and Naruto nodded: "Yes! Does Miss Tsubaki know us too?"

Tsubaki said with a smile, "Of course I know you, after all, there should be very few people in Konoha who don't know you, right?"

Uzumaki Menma and Naruto were extremely smug, so their names were so well-known in Konoha!

Neji complained in his heart, what's so smug about that? No need to think, it must be because of their bad reputation that everyone knows them.

Uzumaki Menma asked curiously, "Miss Tsubaki, did you just move here this year? Naruto and I didn't see this wooden house when we came here last year."

Just as Uzumaki Menma and the others were gobbling down the Flower Cakes, there was a knock on the door of the wooden house.

"Hmm? Who else could be coming?"

Tsubaki opened the door, and a man with white hair stood at the entrance.

"Mizuki? What are you doing here?"

Mizuki flipped his hair in a showy manner, "Of course I'm here to find you, Tsubaki. Won't you invite me in to sit for a while?"

"Oh, please come in."

When Mizuki entered the house, he was stunned for a moment when he saw Uzumaki Menma and the others eating Flower Cakes, then his brows furrowed tightly.

'It's two demon foxes? How could they be here?!'

Mizuki muttered in his heart, puzzled.

The Nine-Tails within Naruto was still sealed tightly.

But Black Kurama within Uzumaki Menma was not sealed.

Kurama possessed the ability to discern good from evil and had a keen sense of malice.

This ability was naturally inherited by Uzumaki Menma.

Uzumaki Menma put down the Flower Cake in his hand, his eyes fixed on Mizuki.

Because Uzumaki Menma sensed Mizuki's malice towards him.
