"Welcome back, the smartest, strongest kobold girl in the world," Ruger said with a smile.

Strength and intelligence were both what Aisijin most loved to hear, and the words she cared most about herself. Among kobolds, strength meant beauty and goodness, while intelligence was what this special kobold had always valued most.

Big Silly Hum also leaned in close, humming as he looked her over a couple of times.

Aisijin blinked, looked around to either side, glanced at Big Silly Hum, then at Ruger, and only after blinking twice more did an expression of sudden realization appear on her face.

"I succeeded?"

Aisijin asked tentatively.

Ruger smiled and nodded, handing her a cup of tea.

Aisijin drained it in one gulp, glanced at the stone bed nearby, set down the cup, and rushed over, lifting the stone in one motion.

"My strength is greater than before!"

Aisijin said happily.

Ruger nodded. It looked like she had truly succeeded. This was the most basic improvement to physical strength from a fighter's advancement. He just did not know what abilities Aisijin had awakened as a Nightmare Fighter.

Ruger did not rush her either.

Only after Aisijin had laughed and frolicked to her heart's content did he call the kobold girl over to his side.
