Chapter 355: Obedience and Demonstration
As Ruger raised a hand to cast Light Body Spell on himself, Mahama beside him began casting at almost the same time. As they walked, both layered their usual spells onto themselves. If they could finish casting before anything happened, they could save the spells in their temporary spell slots for later use.
Without realizing it, both of them quickened their pace.
At the edge of the woods stood a protruding cliff.
Mahama leaped up to the high ground. Ruger slightly spread his wings and followed close behind.
