"Good afternoon, Lord Ruger. Please call me Wizard Varin from now on. A pity I didn't advance a step sooner-I missed my chance to have you call me Lady Wizard," Varin said with a smile. She remained as poised and confident as ever.

Facing Varin, Ruger made no attempt to hide the surprise in his eyes.

"No need to worry. Lady Jillian has already found a suitable potion for me," Varin said with a smile, the wrinkles gathered at the corner of one eye like ravines. "If all goes well, I should recover in just six months. This has been an interesting experience, too. Fortunately, I made it through the leap and transformation of life, so I still have a very long lifespan ahead
