Ruger's mouth hung slightly open as he stared at the luxurious bottle.
If old Lunse knew this sort of stuff was inside a high-end potion bottle, he would surely curse up a storm, spittle flying from his big canine mouth. And even high-end bottles came in different grades: this one looked more exquisite than the kind old Lunse considered high-end.
Taking a rigorous approach, Ruger examined them in turn, sensing each of the three seemingly identical potions with his mental power.

The fellow who had given him this gift was clearly an amateur. Who would dare drink an Alchemy Potion of unknown origin that someone inexplicably gave them? Even if they politely accepted it, they would only put it away and forget about it. This fellow probably rarely dealt with people in daily life, or at least rarely interacted with unfamiliar Wizards.
Still, he was probably very wealthy.
Ruger tapped the box with his hand, then turned and headed into the room.
No, perhaps that wasn't it. He slowed his steps and looked at the potion bottles again. Perhaps this stuff also came in ordinary potion bottles. The fellow had chosen these exceptionally high-grade bottles, which let the recipient view information left by the maker and sense the sealing magic array, precisely to put them at ease.
Ruger's gaze shifted slightly. There was also the potion's method of use. Perhaps this fellow who had not said a word had deliberately chosen something that could be applied externally, also to lessen the recipient's reluctance.
If so, quite a lot of thought had gone into this gift.
