Ruger studied the masked man's expression. Since the man had anticipated that Ruger might not believe him, he must have experienced it himself and understood how inconceivable it sounded. Yet he had still climbed onto his Flying Beast and acted on it. Perhaps, even while being pursued by people bent on killing him, he had secretly felt pleased, convinced that he had placed his trust wisely.
If the masked man was telling the truth, that would also explain why Barry Danton was still appearing in the nearby waters. The world that had fallen back then had landed in the direction of the Three-Flame Divine Palace. The legendary palace formed from three flames had gone out and ceased to exist, and that powerful Wizard faction had fallen apart in the wake of the God of Wizards' actions. But the land was still there, and the fallen world was undeniable. Ruger had even met that world's last survivor, that peculiar fellow, and built a Divine Temple from the crystals of his tears.
But according to what Barry Danton had told this man, the fallen world did not seem to be the main player. Rather, another party had used it to locate the Cavern World.
