Goku's Wedding

After the World Martial Arts Tournament ended, Ye Bai took Goku and the others back to Bun Mountain.

Ye Bai led everyone into the house. Though it was a little small, it could barely fit them all. He walked over to the pedestal where the Dragon Balls were kept, removed the Dragon Ball and the cushion beneath it, revealing a small hole underneath.

"Eh, Xiaobai, when did you get the Four-Star Dragon Ball back?" Goku asked, noticing the Four-Star Dragon Ball his grandfather had left him before anyone else.

"Three years ago." After answering, Ye Bai took the capsule from the small hole and tossed it to Chi-Chi before continuing.

"Chi-Chi, consider this the startup fund for you and Goku's life together after you get married."

"Eh? What's inside this capsule?" Chi-Chi asked as she caught the Capsule Ye Bai had thrown her.

"Oh, it's treasure from when Goku encountered pirates during one of his adventures. I was watching from the Lookout back then. He didn't have time to take it, so I stored it for him. This idiot doesn't even know that ordinary life requires money. You'll have to take care of him from now on."

"And Goku has a huge appetite. Without enough money, there won't even be enough food for him," Ye Bai explained.

"Eh, Xiaobai, were you already at the Lookout that long ago?" Goku asked.

"What else would it be, idiot? Wasn't I already waiting beside you when you first arrived at the Lookout? You never focus on the same things as everyone else," Ye Bai said irritably.

"Xiaobai, so you were there back then? You collected all that treasure?" Krillin asked in surprise.

Ye Bai glanced at Goku as though to say, This is what a normal person would focus on. Then he turned to Krillin and said, "Yes. Seeing so much treasure buried deep beneath the sea felt like a waste. I figured Goku would need it sooner or later, so I put it away. It took two whole capsules to store it all."

After saying that, Ye Bai took another capsule from his pocket, tossed it to Krillin, and said, "Here, this one's for you guys. Split it among yourselves. Martial artists don't exactly have much time to make money, and you'll probably need it when you get married someday."

Krillin hurriedly caught the capsule and carefully held it in his hands.

Ye Bai turned and asked Chi-Chi what she planned to do. Now that they had money, even if they wanted to settle down somewhere, it would not happen that quickly. Should they hold the wedding later instead? Chi-Chi said they could hold the wedding at her home.

Hearing that, Ye Bai nodded and turned to the others.

"Tien Shinhan, Yamcha, Krillin, Chiaotzu, Goku—you lot can train with me after attending Goku's wedding." After saying that, Ye Bai called out to Piccolo outside the house, "Yo, Piccolo, you too."

"What? I have to attend that brat's wedding too?" Piccolo shouted in resistance.

"Yes, you're coming too." Ye Bai's tone allowed no refusal.

Piccolo looked into Ye Bai's eyes and realized he could not escape. He clicked his tongue and said nothing more. Seeing this, Ye Bai called everyone over to Chi-Chi's home for the wedding.

Everyone knew each other, so no one refused. Those who could fly used Flight through the sky, while those who could not took a plane. Goku took Chi-Chi on the Flying Nimbus.

When they arrived at Chi-Chi's home, Ox-King greeted Master Roshi and warmly welcomed everyone to the wedding. He laid out a grand feast for them. Goku and Ye Bai seemed to be competing over who could eat more, while the other martial artists also had no small appetites. Everyone was having a wonderful time.

Ox-King walked over to Chi-Chi and said, "Chi-Chi, you girl, I thought you'd run off somewhere, but you actually brought back a husband from the World Martial Arts Tournament." Then he walked behind Goku and burst into laughter as he watched him eat.

"Hahaha! Just as expected of Gohan's grandson—he doesn't eat like an ordinary man either. Chi-Chi, your husband is impressive both in martial arts and in stomach capacity. I'm very satisfied! Hahahaha!"

"Oh, right, Goku, you came back to hold the wedding, didn't you?"

"This wedding has to be the most luxurious one in the world!"

"Chi-Chi, there's something I want to show you." After saying that, Ox-King greeted everyone and led Chi-Chi upstairs.

"Goku, I'm so jealous that you got to marry such a cute girl." After eating his fill, Krillin's eyes had turned red with envy.

"Jealous? Then get out more. There are lots of girls in West City," Ye Bai said, lifting his head from his meal. He completely failed to notice Bulma's face darkening beside him. Gritting her teeth, Bulma turned to Ye Bai and said, "Xiaobai, you sure know a lot."

Ye Bai sensed something off in her tone and looked up at Bulma. But before he could even turn his head, a sharp pain came from his waist.

"Ah!"

"Dad, is this... for me?" Chi-Chi asked as she looked at the glittering wedding dress before her.

"This was the gown your mother wore when we got married. Consider it a keepsake for you." Ox-King looked at the wedding dress, his eyes full of nostalgia.

After giving the wedding dress to Chi-Chi, Ox-King went to arrange the rest of the wedding preparations.

However, just as the wedding was being prepared, an accident suddenly occurred. The floor shattered, and endless earthfire erupted from below. Everyone fled for their lives, but Ox-King ran back inside and became trapped.

Ye Bai had Goku use Kamehameha to put out the flames, then released all of his ki. He formed a cover resembling a protective barrier over the castle grounds, barely managing to suppress the earthfire. Ye Bai had Ox-King organize people to go inside and collect all the valuables before he finally stopped supplying ki to the ground.

Meanwhile, Goku took Chi-Chi to search for a solution. But Ox-King really was unlucky—his home had been burned down by fire twice already.

After waiting there for a long time, Goku successfully stopped the earthfire. The wedding became a little troublesome, but Chi-Chi said that as long as she was with Goku, anything would be fine. So they made do and hastily continued with the wedding.

Though the wedding was rushed, Chi-Chi smiled happily. Ox-King cried loudly, while Goku could only grin foolishly from the side.

Bulma, standing beside Ye Bai, suddenly said, "I'm so jealous of Chi-Chi," then turned to look at Ye Bai.

Ye Bai pretended not to understand. Though Bulma was angry, there was nothing she could do about him—after all, they were not even a couple.
