End of the Journey to Namek

Ye Bai had just walked out of the gravity training room. He had originally planned to take Gohan to Namek for some training, but he had been so absorbed in cultivation that it was already too late to go.

So he simply teleported to Krillin's location. The moment he landed, an enormous purple energy wave came straight at him.

Ye Bai instantly took everyone away with him and moved them beside Bulma. Bulma had thought this interstellar trip would be interesting, but now she was squatting on the ground, poking mud with a twig. When they had first arrived on Namek, it had at least been novel enough to keep her from getting bored.

Ye Bai landed with the shaken group. Bulma had yet to react, but when she heard them start talking, she turned around. The instant she saw Ye Bai, she ran over in delight.

"Xiaobai, when did you get here?" Bulma asked happily.

"I just got here. I nearly got hit by a purple jelly the moment I landed," Ye Bai said irritably.

Dark clouds gathered in the distance, and golden lightning flashed across the sky. Everyone looked at the distant heavens in confusion as an astonishing aura spread through the air—familiar, yet carrying a trace of evil.

"Why does that aura feel so much like Goku's?" Krillin had spent more time with Goku, so he was more familiar with his aura.

"Yes, that's Goku's aura. What happened? How did he suddenly become so much stronger? And why does his aura seem to carry a trace of evil?" As the strongest among them, Piccolo had sensed it first.

"It's Goku. He probably thought you were dead. Once a Saiyan's strength reaches a certain level, extreme anger can transform them into a powerful warrior known as a Super Saiyan," Ye Bai explained, clearing up their confusion.

"I see. Then, Xiaobai, can you transform into that too?" Bulma asked.

"Not yet. I have enough strength, but I'm still missing something. And stop staring at my face like that," Ye Bai said helplessly.

Though he had grown used to Bulma's lovestruck behavior, he still could not stand being stared at so directly. That was why Ye Bai kept avoiding Bulma. If he did not hide from her, she would have him wrapped around her finger sooner or later. After all, she was rich, curvy, and beautiful.

"What's wrong with looking? Honestly, Xiaobai, aren't you moved at all by a beautiful and adorable girl like me? The people chasing me could line up all the way from West City to the outskirts," Bulma said. She was truly about to lose it with this hopelessly dense man. I've been so obvious already!

At that moment, a dazzling purple light burst from the distant sky. The entire planet shook violently. The purple glow faded from the sky, only for it to be engulfed by a red radiance as the temperature rose rapidly.

"Goku went too far. Krillin, take Bulma, the others, and the Dragon Balls back to Earth in the spaceship first. I'll deal with this," Ye Bai said to Krillin before vanishing.

Bulma was left behind, realizing that he had dodged her question again, and immediately started cursing Ye Bai for being an idiot.

"Phew... dodged another disaster," Ye Bai muttered as he appeared behind Goku.

Goku, transformed into a Super Saiyan, turned around. Seeing that it was Ye Bai, he lowered his guard slightly, though his fighting spirit remained intense.

"Not bad. You look pretty cool, Goku. But from the way you're standing, it seems like you want to fight me," Ye Bai said, understanding at once. A Super Saiyan transformation brought more than just power—it also awakened the battle-loving instincts in Saiyan blood.

"Xiaobai, you're a Saiyan too. Don't you also long for a satisfying battle?" Having transformed into a Super Saiyan, Goku seemed to have awakened his primal, battle-hungry nature.

"Hahaha, so you saw through me. Ever since I wished to become a Saiyan, I've been suppressing the battle-hungry impulses in my blood every moment of every day. Now, you can finally give me a proper fight," Ye Bai said with a grin at first, but as he continued, his smile faded and an overwhelming pressure radiated from him.

Their gazes met, and their fighting spirit seemed to rise every second. Then they both vanished from where they stood, and an instant later, a thunderous collision rang out from between them.

They withdrew their fists from the clash and exchanged another glance, each understanding what the other was thinking. Countless impacts echoed through the sky as though thunder were rumbling overhead, until Goku was the first to be sent flying.

"Goku, your speed and strength have increased tremendously, but it seems you're not used to them yet," Ye Bai said, standing where he was with his cheerful grin restored.

Goku shot out of the ruins. Looking at Ye Bai in the sky, he did not try to deny it.

"Yeah, I'm still not quite used to it."

"Your strength and speed may be far greater than mine, but someone like that can't beat me," Ye Bai continued.

"Hmph. Whether I can win or not, we'll only know after we fight."

"Then show me all your strength, Goku." Ye Bai cracked his knuckles and looked at Goku as he began loosening up.

Once they had finished warming up, Ye Bai was the first to unleash countless energy waves at Goku. While Goku was blocking them, Ye Bai instantly appeared behind him and kicked at him. Goku reacted in time and raised a hand to block it.

Ye Bai no longer held back, and the two launched into a fierce exchange. Although Goku was incredibly fast and powerful, he could not land a single hit on Ye Bai. Ye Bai, meanwhile, seized every opening between Goku's attacks to counter with perfect precision.

Goku was the first to pull away. If this continued, he would only become Ye Bai's punching bag. He could not understand it—his speed was clearly so much greater than Ye Bai's, so why did Ye Bai evade him every time?

"Oh? You're not fighting anymore, Goku? I'm not done having fun yet." With that, Ye Bai appeared in front of Goku again and threw a punch. Goku hastily met it with one of his own, and the two once again became locked in combat, mountains and rocks collapsing in their wake.

As his fists continued to fly, Ye Bai felt the blood throughout his body begin to boil. His muscles trembled with excitement, and a thrilled smile slowly spread across his face.

"Hahahaha! Faster, Goku! Hit harder! Not enough, not enough, still not enough!"

Ye Bai's smile became increasingly crazed as his long-suppressed desire for battle poured forth, making his fists more ferocious than ever.

Goku could only keep blocking. Ye Bai was as slippery and elusive as an eel, and Goku's attacks could barely hit him. Sweat began to run down Goku's forehead.

Ye Bai kicked Goku away once more, then stopped. As the battle went on, Ye Bai could clearly feel his strength rising again, while waves of pleasure continuously coursed through his body.

"Awesome!"

Ye Bai shouted. Even he did not know how long he had endured this. Fighting his own clone, where each knew the other inside out, could never give him this kind of exhilaration.

Looking at the ravaged earth, Ye Bai thought that since the planet was going to be destroyed anyway, he might as well keep fighting to his heart's content. When Goku got back to his feet, Ye Bai did not hold back and launched another attack.

As Goku continued taking hits, he gradually began to grasp his current power and gained a little ability to fight back. At the very least, he could now hit Ye Bai.

But that was not enough. The instant Ye Bai was knocked flying, Goku seized the opportunity and began gathering a Kamehameha.

"Ka... me... ha... me..."

A blue beam shot toward Ye Bai, who had just steadied himself in midair. The moment he reacted, he saw the blue beam rushing at him. Ye Bai condensed a blue-black sphere in his hand and pushed it forward. As if it had struck something irresistible, the blue beam splashed apart in all directions. Holding the blue-black sphere, Ye Bai tore through the blue pillar of energy and charged toward Goku.

Sensing that something was wrong, Goku stopped his stance and dodged to the side. A hand burst through the energy pillar before him and pressed against his body, blasting him into the distance while the owner of that hand remained where he stood.

BOOM~~~

An explosion rang out, blowing away half the entire planet. Ye Bai hurried into the dust, grabbed Goku, who had been knocked back to his normal form, and vanished from the spot.

Not long after Ye Bai and Goku disappeared, the entire planet underwent a massive explosion and vanished into the universe, reduced to dust.
