Mistaken Identity

Android 19 wanted to chase after Son Goku, but Android 20 stopped him.

"There's no need for you to chase him, Android 19. Saving the main course for last is a pleasure too. For now, let's clear out these noisy flies!"

"Besides, Vegeta is already here. This battle should become more interesting." Android 20 looked over at Ye Bai's group.

"Android 20, leave Vegeta to me," Android 19 said respectfully as he stepped before Android 20.

"Greedy fellow. Absorbing Son Goku's energy increased your power, and now you can't get enough of it? Fine. Leave the remaining few to me." Android 20 looked at Android 19 with slight dissatisfaction.

"No problem." With that, Android 19 turned and prepared to attack Vegeta.

"From what I've seen of your earlier actions, I've come to understand that you're not as formidable as the legends say. At most, you can absorb people's energy through your palms. As long as I guard against that, you're nothing special," Vegeta said dismissively.

"Looks like you've observed quite a lot! But you've overlooked one thing—I have already figured out all of your fighting techniques." A strange smile appeared on Android 19's mechanical face.

"You're all talk. Then why were you so shocked when you saw Kakarot turn into a Super Saiyan?"

"In short, your data is far too outdated. You calculated the growth of our strength based on the battle against Frieza. We Saiyans' power isn't something that can be measured with numbers."

"I'd like to see whether low-grade androids like you can feel fear." As he spoke, Vegeta's aura began to rise. His hair turned golden, his pale green eyes carried an icy chill, yet a confident smile curled at his lips.

The powerful aura sent Android 19 flying. The people behind Ye Bai cried out in surprise, though it was hardly strange. Other than Ye Bai, no one had expected Vegeta to become a Super Saiyan out of extreme fury at his own inability to transform.

"Keep dreaming. Even if your body has changed to some extent, you still can't defeat us androids. You'll end up just like Son Goku did earlier." The moment Android 20 finished speaking, Android 19 immediately attacked.

An energy blast shot toward Vegeta, yet it could not even break through his aura barrier. Android 19 leaped into the sky and fired eye beams at Vegeta. Vegeta neither dodged nor evaded, taking the attack head-on. After an explosion, the smoke and dust dispersed.

Vegeta stood where he was as if nothing had happened. Seeing this, Android 19 grinned even more excitedly and extended the hand capable of absorbing energy, throwing a punch at Vegeta. Vegeta took the punch head-on, and his head only tilted back slightly.

Android 19 let out a strange laugh and continuously attacked Vegeta. Vegeta absorbed every blow and only took a single step back.

"Is this really all the strength you have? Didn't I tell you?"

"After transforming into a Super Saiyan, one's personality becomes more violent, and one enters a state of mild excitement. You don't feel pain, do you? Then you're really lucky." Vegeta's eyes suddenly turned fierce.

Vegeta took a step toward Android 19. His savage gaze frightened Android 19 into taking a step back. The next second, Vegeta kicked Android 19 in the stomach, the force of the blow nearly punching through his back.

As Android 19 grimaced in pain, Vegeta drove an elbow into his face, then kicked him flying. Android 20, in the distance, revealed a horrified expression.

Vegeta, however, unhurriedly walked over to Android 19, who lay on the ground, and said, "What is it? Is this beyond your trash android calculations?" Vegeta said with contempt.

Android 19 suddenly launched a sneak attack, ramming his head toward Vegeta, only to be kicked into the air. Vegeta pulled back to gather strength, then charged toward Android 19 in the sky. In an instant, he appeared before the halted Android 19. Android 19 attacked in panic again and again, but every strike was evaded.

"You made it quite realistic. Is that blood flowing out? Or motor oil?" Vegeta asked after punching Android 19 hard enough to make him vomit blood.

Enraged, Android 19 fired eye beams. Vegeta flashed aside, appeared behind him, and struck him with both hands together, sending him crashing toward Ye Bai and the others.

Everyone hurriedly retreated. With a disdainful kick, Ye Bai sent him flying into a small hill nearby, raising clouds of dust.

Vegeta landed before Android 19. Android 19, who had been playing dead, suddenly grabbed Vegeta's hands and began absorbing his energy. He let out a strange laugh as he said, "Hohohoho! I won't let go until I've drained all your energy!"

"You mean you absolutely won't let go, right?" Vegeta suddenly asked with a wicked grin.

"Don't let go no matter what, understand?" After saying that with a wicked grin, Vegeta lifted his lower body into the air, planted his feet on Android 19's face, and forcefully spread himself apart.

"Just as I thought—you absorb energy through your hands and use it to strengthen yourself." The wicked grin remained on Vegeta's face.

"I absolutely won't let go," Android 19 said through his mangled face, his words slurred.

"You will let go!" Vegeta shouted, forcing his body apart even further.

Bang

As Vegeta exerted more force, Android 19's mechanical hands were torn off and flew away with Vegeta. Android 19 staggered back a few steps before collapsing onto the ground, staring at his severed hands.

Vegeta looked at the broken hands attached to his wrists with disgust, glanced at their mechanisms, then tossed them aside and walked step by step toward Android 19. Android 19 backed away in terror.

"As an android, you can feel fear too?" Vegeta approached with a mocking smile.

Frightened out of his wits, Android 19 immediately fled. Vegeta took flight, ready to chase after him and finish him off, just as Android 20 was about to intervene.

"Don't move. Once I'm done with him, it'll be your turn." Vegeta glanced back, frightening Android 20 so badly that he did not dare make a move.

"Take this! This is Super Vegeta's Big Bang Attack!" Vegeta aimed one hand at the fleeing Android 19 and fired an energy blast.

Boom—

With a deafening explosion, nothing but Android 19's head remained rolling on the ground. Vegeta landed behind Android 20.

"It seems you truly are as powerful as you claimed. We miscalculated. But your chances of victory are still minuscule," Android 20 said, pretending to remain calm.

"That piece of trash absorbed quite a bit of my energy just now, so this is your best chance to defeat me. Come on!" Vegeta patted the dust from his body.

Vegeta simply stared calmly at Android 20. Android 20's forehead was covered in sweat, yet he did not dare move recklessly. Vegeta continued, "You just said that the odds of us defeating you were minuscule. Looking at the current situation, that seems impossible, so I want to know what trump card you have."

"It's because no matter how unimaginable your strength is, someone at your level still cannot defeat an android." Android 20 was drenched in sweat, yet he still forced himself to remain composed.

"So it was just an angry outburst." Vegeta said with some disappointment.

Android 20 said nothing more and flew toward an area filled with rocks.

"Krillin, hurry and throw me a Senzu Bean!" Vegeta quickly turned and called out behind him.

Krillin went, "Huh?" but still took out a Senzu Bean and tossed one over. Vegeta caught it, swallowed it, and hurriedly chased after him.

"Show-off," Ye Bai muttered. Everyone behind him immediately turned their eyes toward him.

"What? What do those looks mean?" Ye Bai asked, turning around when he noticed something off in their expressions.

"Nothing, nothing," they quickly replied.

"I'm going to take a look. Come if you want; if not, that's fine too." After saying that, Ye Bai leisurely followed after them.

"Like anyone can show off more than you," Krillin grumbled before chasing after him as well. The others followed too.

Halfway there, Ye Bai saw Vegeta stop and fire a massive energy wave at the ground below. Android 20 was forced out to absorb the blast, only to hide again once he had finished absorbing its energy.

The wasteland was filled with rocky peaks and stone forests. Android 20 intended to slowly ambush them, absorbing enough energy to deal with Vegeta. His first target was Piccolo. After covering Piccolo's mouth, he was just about to drain his energy when Ye Bai kicked him flying. This was taking too long, and Ye Bai was starting to get impatient.

"How is this possible? How did you know I was here?" Android 20 asked as he pulled himself out of the rock wall.

"Hurry up. I'm getting a little impatient," Ye Bai said to Piccolo. By then, the others had surrounded them as well.

Piccolo declared that he would fight Android 20 one-on-one. Android 20 proved completely incapable of fighting back against him, leaving the others stunned. Even Vegeta looked somewhat surprised.

Ye Bai still liked Piccolo's style. Before long, Piccolo tore one of Android 20's arms off. When Android 20 tried to flee, an energy blast exploded beside him and cut off his escape.

"Damn it! I never thought even someone like Piccolo would become this strong," Android 20 said in shock.

"According to the original history, it seemed that all of us would be killed by two androids. But looking at things now, history really can't be changed, can it? I wonder if you aren't as strong as we imagined, or if we've simply become too powerful?" Piccolo said.

"Piccolo, hurry up and finish him! Or do you want me to do it?" Vegeta urged.

"Give me a break. I am the evil half of Kami after he split in two. I won't show mercy to my enemies like Goku does," Piccolo said.

Just then, Future Trunks arrived. Looking at Android 20 below, he said, "Who is he? He isn't the one!"

"What do you mean, who is he? Isn't he the android you told us about?" Vegeta asked.

"What exactly is going on?" Trunks was confused too.

"C-Could it not be him?" Piccolo asked doubtfully.

"W-What's going on?"

"Did we get it wrong?" Krillin and Tien Shinhan were equally bewildered.

"Trunks, why did you come back again? Did something happen in your world?" Ye Bai asked a different question.

"Mr. Ye Bai, n-no. I just thought I'd come back and help you. An extra person means extra strength," Trunks said, visibly relieved to see Ye Bai there.

"You've been fighting him this whole time? But he isn't the one," Trunks said, looking at Ye Bai in confusion.

Ye Bai quietly moved closer to Trunks and said, "I told you, this timeline has long since become different from yours. Besides, with me here, there won't be any problems. Whatever request your father makes later, just let him do as he pleases. I can handle it."

"I see... o-okay, Mr. Ye Bai," Trunks said, returning to his bashful manner.

"He isn't the one? Then who exactly is this guy? Who do you think he is?" Vegeta asked in surprise.

"This shouldn't be too much of a problem, right? After all, the history he knew has already changed. So I think this android and the android he encountered just look a little different," Krillin guessed.

"That's possible," Tien Shinhan agreed.

"No, the android Trunks mentioned was created by this android," Ye Bai said.

"What?" everyone exclaimed in shock.

"That's right, isn't it, Dr. Gero? You still have Android 17 and Android 18. Go release them," Ye Bai said to Dr. Gero.

Just then, Bulma flew over in a plane with Tights and Yajirobe.

Before anyone could react, Android 20 declared that Android 17 and Android 18 would soon come and kill them all. Then he wildly fired energy blasts in every direction, obscuring their vision as he escaped.

Ye Bai quickly caught Bulma and Vegeta's son from the plane, while Trunks caught Tights. Seeing the white-haired baby in Ye Bai's arms, Trunks angrily ran over to confront Vegeta.

Ye Bai handed the child to Tights, unable to help marveling at how effective the world's correction was. Bulma hadn't given birth to Trunks—Tights had. Could you believe it?
