"Lord Li Wei, I'm terribly sorry. It seems I hit a little too hard." Frieza gave a slight bow. Though he said he was sorry, the smug grin on his face simply would not go away.

Seeing Frieza's arrogant, triumphant expression, Vegeta clenched his fists, filled with resentment. Yet he did not dare make a move against Frieza. The gap between them was simply too great!

"Thanks for your hard work, Frieza. You may go back now." Li Wei snapped his fingers, sending Frieza back and dismissing the Meta Field.

Everyone returned to the Gravity Chamber.

Li Wei walked over to the severely injured and unconscious Son Goku, raised his hand, and released a ball of healing light, curing all of Son Goku's injuries.

Having recovered from his grave injuries, Son Goku's battle power soared once again. Yet rather than rejoicing over his sudden increase in strength, he lowered his head and sank into thought.

"Frieza... he's really strong!" Son Goku clenched his fists, his expression solemn. Yet there was no fear in his eyes—only blazing fighting spirit!

"After fighting Frieza, Goku, you should understand the gap between yourself and him now, right? Settle down and train properly. I believe you'll catch up to Frieza soon enough," Li Wei egged him on.

Son Goku nodded, brimming with motivation. "Okay! I'll train even harder! I'll definitely defeat Frieza!"

"Then do your best." Li Wei offered a word of comfort before turning to Vegeta. "Vegeta, have you made up your mind? Do you want to work for me? In return, I can teach you how to become stronger."

Vegeta hesitated for a moment. In the end, he gritted his teeth, lowered his head, and bowed. "Please, Lord Li Wei... teach me!"

Seeing Vegeta finally lower his head, Li Wei nodded in satisfaction. He had recruited another Saiyan thug.

Li Wei then taught Vegeta how to use the Gravity Chamber and explained the benefits that training within it would bring to Saiyans. After that, he stopped paying attention to Vegeta and let him do as he pleased.

"Goku, come with me. I think it's time." Li Wei beckoned and led Son Goku away from Universal Technology Company.

"Goku, how do you feel?" Li Wei asked.

Just moments ago, he had bestowed Nexus's light upon Son Goku.

After obtaining Nexus's light, Son Goku's battle power soared once more!

Son Goku sensed his current state and smiled. "I feel better than ever."

Li Wei nodded. "With your current strength, you should be able to try transforming into a Super Saiyan."

"A Super Saiyan?" Son Goku tilted his head in confusion.

Li Wei explained, "A Super Saiyan is another form of transformation, similar to the Saiyan Great Ape transformation. The difference is that turning into a Great Ape only increases battle power tenfold, while becoming a Super Saiyan increases it fiftyfold!"

"Fifty times?!" Son Goku was somewhat astonished.

Li Wei nodded and smiled. "Do you want to transform into a Super Saiyan?"

Li Wei stepped before Son Goku and pressed a finger to his forehead. "Follow the guidance of my power and use your peaceful state of mind to draw forth the Super Saiyan power within your bloodline!"

Son Goku closed his eyes upon hearing this and carefully sensed the light continuously moving through his body...

A moment passed.

Son Goku slowly opened his eyes. A jade-green glimmer flashed through his black pupils, while his black hair rose upright and took on a golden sheen—before reverting to normal.

After several repetitions, the jade-green glow in Son Goku's eyes finally stabilized completely. His black hair stood fully on end, turning gold!

Boom!

A golden aura surged up from Son Goku's body, enveloping him completely!

Li Wei slowly withdrew his hand. Without Li Wei's power supporting him, Son Goku, whose transformed state had only just stabilized, fell back into his normal form once more.

"Whew~"

Son Goku let out a heavy breath and said in surprise, "Li Wei, just now, I felt my power suddenly become so much stronger!"
