Vegeta VS Broly

Seeing that Paragus's attitude in admitting his mistake was fairly sincere, Li Wei decided not to hold his earlier offense against him.

He turned his head and looked at the utterly bewildered Vegeta and Nappa in the gravity chamber, giving them a brief explanation.

"I see. So my father did something like that? What a needless move. How could I possibly be surpassed by someone like him?" Vegeta said disdainfully as he looked at Broly.

Nappa also stared at Broly in astonishment. This Saiyan's talent had been so great that even King Vegeta had feared him—just how strong was he?!

Seeing Vegeta's dismissive expression, Li Wei smiled. "From the look of it, you seem to look down on Broly. That makes things simple."

"You and Broly should have a match. It'll also give Paragus and his son a chance to vent the resentment they've carried for so many years. What do you say, Vegeta?"

Vegeta panted as he rose to his feet. He proudly lifted his chin and looked at Broly with contempt. "I'm fighting him? Let me make this clear first—I won't hold back. If I beat him to death, I'm not taking responsibility!"

Li Wei nodded slightly. "If you have the ability."

After saying that, Li Wei looked at Paragus again and asked, "Paragus, what do you think? Let Broly and Vegeta have a match. Consider it a way for you father and son to vent the hatred you've held for so many years. I'm not asking you to get along in the future, but at least don't start fighting the moment you meet."

Faced with Li Wei's gentle question, Paragus lowered his head and clenched his fists unwillingly. Yet he did not dare defy Li Wei's wishes—Broly was still kneeling there!

"Fine, Lord Li Wei. I agree!" Paragus said through gritted teeth.

Seeing this, Li Wei glanced back and forth between the two groups and sighed. "You Saiyans really are a stubborn lot. Then solve this the Saiyan way—let your fists do the talking!"

Snap~

Li Wei raised a hand and snapped his fingers. The Meta Field unfolded!

The familiar wilderness and hills were already nothing unusual to Son Goku, Vegeta, and Nappa, who had seen this scene before.

But Paragus was utterly shocked.

Although Li Wei had displayed similar methods before and had even teleported him and his son to Earth, a method that seemed capable of shifting stars and changing constellations was no less staggering no matter how many times he saw it.

Li Wei looked at Broly, who had somewhat recovered, then at Vegeta, whose stamina had been severely depleted. He gathered a ball of light in each hand and restored both their injuries and stamina.

Restored to his peak condition, Vegeta became even more confident. He provocatively looked at Broly, hooked a thumb toward himself, and declared, "Come on. Let me show you just how formidable I, Vegeta, am. And I'll prove that my father's actions were completely unnecessary!"

"I, Vegeta, am the strongest Saiyan!"

Looking at the confident and arrogant Vegeta, Paragus faintly saw King Vegeta's shadow in him. Fury instantly surged through him.

"Broly, give Vegeta a good beating!" Paragus roared.

Broly nodded, baring his teeth as he glared at Vegeta.

Vegeta was completely unafraid and assumed his signature fighting stance.

Snap~

Li Wei snapped his fingers and teleported the others to a hill with a broad view.

"Then let the battle begin!"

Li Wei's voice rang clearly in Vegeta and Broly's ears.

At those words, Vegeta sneered and launched the first attack.

"Take this!"

Vegeta raised his hand and fired a Ki blast, seizing the initiative!

Boom!!

Broly was struck, and dust immediately billowed into the sky.

"Hahaha! So the genius King Vegeta feared is only this much!" Vegeta laughed disdainfully.

Whoosh~!

A tall figure emerged from the dust completely unharmed and rapidly closed in on Vegeta.

"What?!"

Vegeta was startled and was just about to dodge, but Broly was too fast!

Bang!!

Broly charged like a raging bull. His massive body was like a speeding freight truck as he violently slammed Vegeta flying!

"Aaargh~!"

Vegeta let out a miserable scream, blood constantly spilling from his mouth as he flew backward at tremendous speed. He smashed through several hills before finally being buried beneath rubble.

Whoosh!

Broly flew into the air. He stared fixedly at Vegeta's location, gathered Ki blasts in his palms, and rained attacks down below!

Whoosh whoosh whoosh~!!

A huge number of Ki blasts fell, blasting flat the rocks burying Vegeta below. Vegeta, caught within them, also suffered a devastating critical hit!

"Aaarghhh!!"

Vegeta's miserable wails echoed through heaven and earth, even drowning out the sound of the explosions.

"Yaaah!"

Broly roared as he charged down, grabbed Vegeta from the ground, and repeatedly slammed him into the earth!

Bam!!

Vegeta's limp body crashed heavily into the ground!

"Aaagh~!"

Vegeta let out a miserable scream.

Bam!!

Another vicious slam sent Vegeta screaming into unconsciousness!

Bam!!

The agonizing pain jolted the unconscious Vegeta awake again, only for him to scream and pass out once more!

After repeating this several times, Broly roared and hurled Vegeta into the sky. Then, after gathering power, he fired a ki blast straight at him!

Li Wei and the others watched the battle.

After witnessing Broly beat Vegeta from start to finish, Paragus cheered excitedly and kept urging Broly on, until Broly finally developed killing intent!

"Not good!!"

Son Goku's expression changed. He immediately transformed into a Super Saiyan, flashed forward, and rescued Vegeta, causing Broly's attack to miss.

"YAAAAAHHH!!"

Seeing the person he wanted to kill get rescued, Broly let out a beast-like roar and immediately gave chase!

Seeing this, Paragus's expression changed as he cried out in panic, "Not good, Broly's gone berserk!"

Li Wei shook his head helplessly. "His mental state is far too unstable."

Whoosh!

Li Wei flashed before Broly and swiftly threw a punch!

Bang!

"Aaagh~"

Broly spat out a mouthful of blood, cried out miserably, slowly dropped to his knees, and then collapsed helplessly!

Watching Li Wei subdue the berserk Broly so easily, Paragus's eyelids twitched repeatedly as he silently judged him: Monster!

Paragus finally understood. Broly was indeed powerful, but there were monsters in this world even stronger than Broly!

And Li Wei was one such monster!

He was absolutely not someone father and son could afford to provoke.

Snap~

Li Wei raised his hand and snapped his fingers, dispelling the Meta Field.

Looking at the restored surroundings, Son Goku let out a slight sigh of relief before gently laying the gravely injured, dying Vegeta on the ground.

"Li Wei, hurry and save Vegeta! He's about to die!" Son Goku shouted anxiously.
